Agree, this share is probably a good one for trading as it can be very volatile. Must admit I tend to hold shares for a year but I am thinking of doing some day trading on a small scale.

I am trying to do some research based on historical share prices but I am struggling to get the base data, I used to be able to get several years historical data from Yahoo but this no longer appears to be available.

I'm certainly no genius and have lost money on many occasions, including OCDO. You have to take the rough with the smooth. This share has been fantastic for most investors over the last few months. Personally I wouldn't take any note of brokers targets.

Tom, I did try and defend you on the ITV board but you do make it difficult.

Please explain how you made a profit on NANO.

Also, how much are you down on the "great risk" GGP?

Is anybody bothered about 3rd place? Can anybody name any team that has ever come 3rd? I certainly won't be watching the over-hyped England team.

Momentum is very important. Be careful not to try and catch a falling knife !

I'm not saying I have made 360% but anybody who hasn't made money on this over the last few months is either very unlucky or perhaps not a very good investor.

I was happy enough to sell this at over £17 and make a nice profit. This has been as low as £11 in the last 12 months and as high as £18 so I suspect around £15 is as likely as anything in the medium term. Also it has tended to perform poorly in the summer, last year it fell from £14 to £12, the year before it fell from £15 to £9. I will stay out until the price drops.

Interesting article on momentum in the IC. This shows that negative momentum stocks and high beta stocks perform badly. And in the latest top 20 for both negative momentum and high beta is ........ HOC. So there may be more falls to come.

To be fair to TE he did say that he sold at 181 on Friday so he did make a nice little profit on that trade so well done to him. See, it's not all negative Tom.

Why should it turn soon. Remember in the past this has fallen from £5 to 15p.

I think saying everyone is dumping the shares is a bit of an over reaction. Having risen by 360% over the last few months I'm not going to lose any sleep on a drop of 2% on any given day. Perhaps you don't have the right mind-set for trading in shares?

TE, the only fool is you, you seem to forget your own postings.

For instance, 13th Feb "have 17,132 NANO at 41p". 3rd April "got rid of NANO at 38p". You don't need to be a qualified accountant (which I am) to see that is a loss.

It is strange that so many people on here query your claims, perhaps we are all wrong and you are right.

Radio, I have to agree with you I find TomE's claims of his legendary trading performance a tad far fetched. From what I recall he was showing a loss of £40k at the end of March and since then he has sold ITV at a loss, NANO at a loss, bought TW at 200+ (currently 172) and VOD at 196 (currently 191). Not to mention this week's venture on GGP (already down 24%) based on advice from an AIM board.
I do find these boards quite amusing on occasions with the occasional snippet of useful information but, no offence to anybody, I wouldn't buy any shares based on what was posted on LSE, especially some of the crackpots that frequent the AIM boards.

Hardly surprising about the actions of the politically correct mayor of Sheffield, given that he is a black, muslim immigrant who condemns our own monarchy. To be fair I quite like the guy but I don't think his views represent the views of the majority of the people of Sheffield.
DT is the democatically elected president of the USA. You may not like his views but at least you know what they are, rather than the pathetic sound bites of Mrs May and her cronies, who are basically in it for themselves and stuff the rest.
As regards ISAT I am considerably down on these but am more optimistic on now than I have been for a long time and will be holding them for at least the next 12 months.

Agree that buybacks often disappoint, RYA have been buying millions over the last few weeks but the share price has fallen, I think the market prefers a special dividend, look at the impact on Superdry today.
I remember when I worked at Morrisons and they had a share buyback, this increased EPS and increased bonuses for management but did little for the share price.

This must be the most volatile share I have owned. Originally bought 20,000 at 70p, they then dropped to 18p before climbing to £3.26. So at the lowest ebb I was £13k down, at their high I had made almost £50k. I did sell 25% at just over £3 on the basis the weight of FXPO in my portfolio was more than I like. So I cannot lose no matter what happens to the share price. However I still feel the pain of the 47% fall in the last 5 months.

The market always seems to over react with FXPO, with a PE ratio of less than 3 it would appear to offer excellent value but who knows what will happen, as Keynes said the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.

Agreed BAMPS, I never have more than 10% in any one share, although my income is all TAKEN from my investments so I need to be relatively risk averse.
