I am a confident investor but don't think I could sleep easily if I was investing with borrowed money, no such thing as a certainty in this game.

Momentum normally plays a big part in share price movement. Shares that have fallen in the last 2 months often continue to fall, shares that have risen in the last 2 months often continue to rise.

Does the mean you will borrow money to invest in shares?

It is 16% below where it was 2 months ago so not an investment for me.

I tend to be positive when the price is above where it was 1, 2 and 3 months previously.

I will miss the bottom but should avoid catching a falling knife.

I appreciate the fundamentals are positive but this is only one aspect of many in valuing shares, the efficient market hypothesis is a myth.

TW down 35% in the last year and all that time most posters on here have been recommending buying. I will wait for a significant retrace before buying.

Agreed, great start. Acacia still number 1 based on my momentum analysis, well clear of the rest.

Seems very quiet here. My only share to increase today.

We must be due for a turnaround at some stage, I think I will wait for some positive share price increase before I invest more. Remember this has been as low as 19p and there wasn't a takeover.

Without Ocado 2018 would have been a bit of a nightmare for me so I will always have a soft spot for them.

This must be such a relief to holders of the likes of Capita, Superdry, Thomas Cook, Debenhams etc. who thought they'd lost up to 80% on the shares they bought a year ago.

The £100bn is not a fact, it is a forecast (guess) and these are very rarely correct.

Whatever tariff the EU imposes, if we impose the same tariff we will receive more tax than we pay.

Over the last 12 months, the FTSE is down 9%, the German Dax is down 18%. I think the impact of Brexit is overstated, most major stock-markets are down.

Tom, you say I had no clue what I was voting for.

Some facts are :-

£39,000,000,000 extra to spend.
We no longer need to impose EU tariffs on imports, therefore lowering costs.
We import more than we export so we would therefore benefit from any tariffs the EU imposes on us if we receiprocate.
What facts were available to support remain?
Not quite sure how you are now suffering because of people like me. Also don't quite understand your comments about barns and mice, I assume it's a nasty little insult but I won't lose any sleep over it.

I'm glad I cut my losses on this and sold when it was in the 80s.

It looks highly risky, with a tiny operating margin of 2% and debt at 5 times the market value.
