Aye, lucky enough to have got in at 202 myself and likewise haven't sold or traded. Wish I had been brave and traded a couple of times mind. Got a DRIP on the go with this one too so just letting it slowly accumulate and waiting for it to kick on.

Think the bonuses are preferred to be paid in shares as opposed to cash for tax efficiency, both for the employee and the employer, and it also gives the employee added incentive via the share performance

TZ under new leadership that seems more forthcoming towards foreign investment, however it is still designated as a 'red list' country which poses a multitude of problems for anyone wishing to travel there from the UK. Quarantine aside I'm fairly sure the insurers wouldn't want to know in terms of travel and medical cover, and so on..

Ref your last paragraph Chelwood I fully agree, and also teaching children about general financial responsibility would go a long way too. So, so many young adults who get themselves into a mess with varying kinds of credit etc without fully understanding the implications of it.

In response to 2), the 12th is the register date. This is the date you need to hold shares on to receive the divident, not the date it is paid. It is then paid on the 26th at whatever price it is on the 26th, providing everything is voted in favour of.
