There's been a round of profit taking today. Some will have been sat on considerable gains if they bought at the right time. Won't be long before we carry on rising IMO

They are separate listings. While one will generally track the other, give or take, there may be small variations. Has this with 88e when I was in that ages ago, which was dual listed here and on the ASX (Australia).

Well done with holding Chelwood, my large 1.50 SAYE went on a house deposit a while back. It served it's purpose. Got a smaller one at 1.68 due next year, might hold that for a while depending on conditions at the time.

b-b £500 is fair enough for a quick punt on a high risk share, no damage done if it goes to nothing. It's these who start borrowing money, or throwing significant lumps of pension pots and savings at shares like those which worry me. I remember having a dip on 88e one time and some of the stories of what people had invested there and where they had drawn them funds from were truly frightening.

b_b and therein lies the difference between using shares for income, or to build wealth, and simply using them as a glorified form of gambling.

As an employee of TSCO, I can confirm that the majority of employees aren't subject to blackout periods, as we aren't privy to the full results beforehand. Those on the PDMR list (ie senior directors) are subject to dealing restrictions.

I'd suggest that's just prudent planning as acquisitions of new aircraft etc takes years..

As predicted.. good set of figures, expected to beat upper range of profit forecast for FY, SP drops.

Profitability. Less flights carrying more passengers are more profitable.

I doubt the results will be bad, but TSCO does have a bit of a track record of dropping on results irrespective of how good the results are. Might be a bit of that.

Remember the US (and a lot of other markets) rose a lot more strongly than we did after the initial covid crashes.. maybe a rebalancing going on?

It sounds a lot built with over 7bn in circulation the effect will be minimal unless it's sustained for a considerable period in terms of total shares. What it does do is give a steady demand for them from TSCO itself which will in turn help the share price while they are doing it.

Just checked, previous time it broke above 375 was May 2013 for reference.

I think 375 is easily achievable this year. It's been slowly but steadily rising for a considerable time now based on a stronger performance by the business.

A lot has changed in the company since the days of attempting world domination to be fair, I strongly doubt there's anyone left at senior level from that era.
