To say that there will be a need for funds in the next 2 years is to state the absolutely bleedin' obvious, so yet again, stop making a fool of yourself and worrying those who don't fully understand.
There are so many options open to RKH to raise those funds, that to start scare-mongering now that RKH is running out of money (oh my Godders - what a catastrophe) is just idiotic.
For example, you and Latics don't even try to identify the very real opportunities currently available and try to evaluate them. All you clowns do is try and stampede some readers here to jump over the cliff.

You know that the TDF decommissioning is no longer and issue and you also know (assuming you actually know what you're posting) that any Italian decommissioning costs are at least 7 years away (and that's Eni saying that, not Sam, or RKH).

Covgas, in the FIG document posted by Mogger, there is reference to the retention of "the part time cleaner", so it looks as though they're doing their best to keep Latics informed to the standard he demands. Trouble is, he doesn't bother reading it.

I hardly think Gideon Tadmor would get involved in something like this to provide Sam with luxurious living, while he does little or nothing.
I agree with Covgas - we had far too many false statements in the time of PMO. Meaningful silence is much preferable.

Does anyone really know? I haven't heard 100% convincing reasoning from anyone, except that it's probably better to move energy production to renewables, as renewables don't cause smog in city centres, regardless of the CO2 produced.

What's absolutely definite is that humans are going to need fossil fuels for a long while yet, for whatever reason, so if you're bothered about whether or not SL is going ahead, just forget about that - it's going ahead.
As for who / what produces the most CO2, I'm leaving that the the 'experts', who seem completely divided, so why add to the noise?

If K&S were to win a claim against the FIG, they'd probably need to enforce the award. In which case they'd probably use someone who knows the islands and has experience in such matters.

One might offer a discount if there was a desperate need for cash, but as there isn't, why on earth would anyone offer a discount to the very ones who have created this situation? Also, Italy was quite happy to see RKH go under, as they procrastinated and threw spanners in the works.

I can't see any immediate demands on RKH that it currently can't afford, so two fingers to Italy, I say and send in the dogs (or bailiffs).

Just for the record, Navitas couldn't care less about Argentine hostility, although it would be so much better if everyone could work together.
Problem with that is whether one could trust Argentina, if one embarked on such a commitment.

Bearing in mind all the aggravation from the not so voluptuous (any longer) Cristina Fernández de Kirchner over so long, which was hardly a secret, do you really believe Navitas would have got so involved in SL if they were the least bit concerned about that bunch of loons?

Maybe it's a sort of blessing in disguise, in that the voluptuous Cristina has frightened of most others, so Navitas can now enjoy having it all to themselves.
Not sure I'd go as far as to say that the Navitas relationship is a 'match made in heaven', but it's about as good as it gets:
- Navitas really seem driven to get things done, which no one could have accused PMO as being.
- They even seem to be getting FIG to deliver promptly, which wasn't something one could previously have considered of them. If you remember, they seemed to drag their feet at the slightest opportunity, with the words of Keith Padgett ringing in their ears, that the FI didn't NEED the oil revenue (bit like Mirasol's words, who prefers to rely on postage stamps and fish).
- They seem able to raise funding, where others may have difficulty.

Don't forget, Israel is surrounded by hostile neighbours, so a bunch of Argies a few hundred miles away, probably seems quite benign.

If you're going to make statements like that, then please attribute them to the correct culprit.

The un-achieved 'time horizons' were courtesy of PMO, with Tony Durrant promising "FID within the next 6 months" in August 2017, not by Sam and not from RKH.

FFS Mirasol, we're talking about £100sMillion, or even a Billion or two to achieve what's needed in the FI, especially if their reliable fishing grounds start moving north, as seems to be happening with climate change.

Just spend a bit of time going through all those manifestos and interviews (I think there are at least 15, or 16) before making yourself look even sillier.

Mirasol, I wasn't discussing what newly elected MLAs might, or might not have delivered from their manifestos, which, as we know, always disappoints.

The manifestos and interviews spelt-out many of the main issues concerning Islanders right now - that's why candidates were referring to them, saying: "if you vote for me, I'll get them sorted".
Not everyone referred to the same issues, although some issues were mentioned by everyone (e.g. industrial salmon farming - pisciculture).

Interestingly, things like philately and selling postage stamps to generate national revenue wasn't mentioned by anyone, so I don't know who you talk to, who has an idea about the FI national finances.
I can tell you for definite, the FI infrastructure is in a dodgy state and there isn't the money to repair it all, let alone upgrade it, without SL revenues.
Some spoke about the departure of younger, dynamic islanders (i.e. the ones who will actually make a difference), who won't return to live. If that continues, the Islands might have to be abandoned one day, if significant new revenue isn't provided. Without SL, what do you suggest? Postage stamps?

BTW Godders, regarding Ian Ramsay, he wouldn't have given-up a very well-paid job to move to Navitas, if he wasn't 100% that this is going somewhere.
Can you imagine someone of his calibre chucking-in his previous appointment, with Navitas saying to him: "Well we're not actually the SL operator right now, so you'd better take a long unpaid holiday until we've sorted things out and signed it off"?

FFS Godders, please show some understanding of project management.
Even if Navitas have been completely "privy to the numbers", which may not be completely accurate, they've literally only just signed-up as operator.
Until they were operator, any work they would have done, including the very large salary of someone like Ian Ramsay, would have been completely at risk. So they can only have started proper work on the project once they were confirmed as operator, which required FIG, Harbour, RKH, and I believe Chevron, to have agreed the terms and all of them sign it off.

Mirasol, have you even bothered to look at / listen to the MLA interviews (interviewed by Richard ****well) and/or bothered to read / listen to the MLA manifestos, which set out what needs to be done in the FI and what those candidates said they'd do?
