Sorry to disappoint you but there was an RNS for a $500M award, the sp absolutely sky-rocketed to £2 for about 5 minutes, most of us sold-out, which is why so few are left here, just comparing our winnings.

I'm not saying that they would have said this formally to ICSID. If it did happen, I reckon it would have been just between them, probably discussed over a nice meal and a few bottles.
You know the sort of thing, where they need to scratch each others' back from time to time.

An official explanation wouldn't be hard to find, which ICSID would be prepared to accept, as long as no rules are broken, giving the Italians further reasons to object.

While I would normally agree that legal process and Italian elections should have little (preferably nothing) to do with each other, in this case there has been quite a bit of discussion about the possibility of a 'dissenting arbiter' - presumably the one appointed by the Italian State. The discussion has been about the Tribunal preferring to have a unanimous outcome, rather than a divided one.
If that's the situation, then it is just possible that the dissenting arbiter might have said that he is prepared to join the others in a unanimous outcome, if they will allow the publication to be postponed until after the Italian election.
Then, at least, the ICSID award won't have been seen to have had any influence on / connection with the election?

That's precisely why the ECT was invoked to pursue this claim and not the Italian legal system.
K&S and Harbour aren't ignorant fools - they knew what was involved when they took this on. I suspect they have a better idea about all that than random posters on this BB - after all, that's how they make their money.

headder, I wish you the best of luck. As for OM / ECT / ICSID or whatever anyone wishes to call the matter, I think I smell an announcement in the air, but having thought that a few times before, I'm not going to make a public tit of myself by saying so!

As this isn't a 'court case', but arbitration and the Italian State has done everything possible to frustrate progress and the tribunal has had to be seen to have been scrupulously fair / impartial, then the delays probably indicate the exact opposite of what you posted.
Had RKH lost their claim, it would have been concluded ages ago, by being dismissed.

In fact, that the Italian State lawyers have been so disruptive may well be reflected in any award.
You may remember that some time ago, RKH lawyers, K&S merely asked the tribunal about progress (like the kids in the back asking "Are we nearly there?") and they received a VERY frosty reply, warning them not to try anything like that again, or they might regret it.
Well, the Italian State lawyers have done far worse than that and several times, so I doubt if the tribunal will simply let them get away with it, should RKH succeed and an award given in their favour.

I wish no harm to headder, but actually he/she has been posting here since April 2022, so probably reading from before that, during which time the OM claim (and the ICSID award) has been discussed to death. Everything anyone needs to know about the subject has already been posted, several times over.
Therefore, I stand by my comment. headder has clearly not been paying much attention.

Please header, before publicly broadcasting that you haven't a clue about what you're posting, why not do a bit of research, including reading the reams of very good (and some as awful as yours) posts on the matter.

Then come back and post something sensible - by then, we'll know the result and so your efforts will have been completely wasted, but at least we'll have enjoyed a bit of peace.

Don't be childish harp, now trying to justify your previous stupid post, broadcasting that you don't understand what RNS is about.

Sorry to bang on, but just in case some are disappointed by RKH silence, or feel compelled to have another rant about Sam and his scams, just to remind you that RNS announcements are essentially to announce specific things / events about THE COMPANY, which might affect the share price when the market opens. That's why most RNS announcements are published an hour before the market opens.
Yes, I know there are some RNS announcements during trading hours, but if you're that interested, you can research those for yourself.

In the mean time, given the above, why would RKH make an RNS announcement about another company appointing a senior manager?

If Navitas have made such an appointment, why would RKH make an RNS announcement about it, other than to congratulate them?
I think it's misleading posts like that, which get everyone jumping around, to expect things which should not be expected.
OM award news must be the biggest example of that.
