Thanks for the encouraging words and thanks again to Mogger for digging up that ECT report and apologies again for my comment meant for the nit wit.
There's little doubt that this one's going to fly, although for the timid investor, nothing's certain until it's certain, so for them, maybe don't put all your money on this horse, in the way that some clowns have done with Bitcoin, even borrowing to get in on the act and now have lost a packet - that's probably what's happened to W*nkos and why he posts such inane comments.
Some are betting on ARG and others on BOR. I think they'll fly in the wake of RKH FID, when it happens, as they both undoubtedly have big reserves of oil/gas/condensate.
However, if the argument about the RKH sp is that even its proven oil is more-or-less worthless, at least until FID, then for ARG & BOR, while they may have reserves, none of it's proven and any realistic production date could be overtaken by the move away from fossil fuels.
Mogger's ECT report makes the point that perhaps as much as 80% of the World's oil reserves will have to be left where they are as renewables provide an increasing proportion of our energy needs..
Also, I remember when I was at school, we were taught that the UK alone had more than 200 years' of coal reserves, so we were OK, whereas now we've pretty well accepted that most of that will stay where it is.
So, while ARG & BOR might be an interesting short term "bet", neither IMO amounts to a long term "investment" in the way that RKH definitely does.
