Nice to hear some positive news is happening in the background dprusky. After reading Mirabeaus post, I fell of my chair, did he really give praise to a politician? Well Gunner has made the right decisions so far, let's hope the government will have everything in place for Origin to hit the ground running in the dry season. Roll on 2019!

The SP held well up to the lifting of the moratorium on what seemed like similar low volumes. The delay in waiting for the next dry season before origin hits the dirt with not too much in the way of news has caused the drift down. I think we have to wait until we walk the walk before POQ gets to talk the talk. We all know It's potential is huge, so let's hope things go to plan for us next year.

Why has POQ had the need for another broker on board, is this an unnecessary expense or a smart move ahead of what is in the pipeline? Also, why Cenkos, there are reports that they struggled financially last year? Hope we hear more about this move very soon, this news seems to have unsettled the SP a little.

I think this is a discussion that many large energy companies may be having that are involved with Fossil fuels. I wouldn't think that they have short term plans to sell off their assets, but their medium term plan may well consider this move... Interesting.

I believe that Stage 2 of the Implementation Plan is on Schedule, I would be very surprised if any drilling was delayed further. It looks like Gunner and his government are on the front foot here, they know that onshore gas will form the backbone to all their plans to get their economy up and running again, this appears to be their number one priority.

According to the IEA report, Chinese demand for natural gas will rise by almost 60 percent between 2017 and 2023 to 376 billion cubic meters (bcm). This includes a rise in its LNG imports to 93 bcm by 2023 from 51 bcm in 2017. Global LNG imports will rise to 505 bcm by 2023 from 391 bcm in 2017, an increase of some 114 bcm. The Asia-Pacific region, which accounts nearly two-thirds of all global LNG demand, will hold that lead going forward. The certificate may help US exporters win markets in European countries where there is suspicion of the use of hydraulic fracturing to extract gas from shale reserves. Gas sold with the certificate has to meet standards for environmental impacts such as leakage of methane, water contanimation etc. New Jersey Resources said it was buying the certified “responsible gas” at a premium to the market price. It added the certificate “attests a responsible natural gas product for natural gas purchasers and end users”. 

Respect to Nano and Newty for their knowledge, I think I understand where Ilvilo and tnbird get to their market cap off $20 Billion, Falcons acerage in Beetaloo is 1.38 million acres, so looking at $20,000 per acre, this adds up to 20 billion plus. This equals $20 per share, so I optimistically agree with Ilvilo & tnbird on this one, looks like we are all going to become millionaires! ;-)

If the new estimates are correct and there is over 500 TCF of gas in the Beetaloo Basin, and Origin / Falcon permits hold 70% of this estimate, what does this mean for our potential SP? If all goes well next year, what volumes could be proved up in 2019? Should we be looking at $5 to $10 per share potentially in the long run, is it possible that Falcon sell of pieces to fund further drilling in the future maybe?

According to Paltar Petroleums Corporate Presentation in October 2017, the highly prospective Beetaloo Basin in the Northern Territory, Australia is the #2 second largest global shale gas basin (600 TCF+) behind the Vaca Muerta. Paltar have 6 permits (EPA 136, EPA 143, EP231, EP231, EP232, EP234 and EP237) and a further 6 permits under application covering over 10,000,000 acres. EP136 and EP143 are adjoining 4 exploration permits (EP 76, EP 98, EP 99 and EP 117) held by Joint Venture Partners Falcon Oil & Gas Australia and Origin Energy with discovery well Amungee NW-1H.

Speaking at the opening of the South East Asian Oil & Gas Conference, a cornerstone of NTResources Week, Mr Gunner said industry experts suggest there could be more than 500 trillion cubic feet of onshore shale gas resources in the Beetaloo sub basin alone. Original assessments suggested there could 200Tcf of onshore gas.
