Don't worry TT the supposed trolls are still here safe in the knowledge that the recent dramatic fall in the SP aligned very much with our advice not to totally trust what AK or the BOD says. Even you must be getting slightly worried . I know am. Not a lot else that can be said really i.e. for the moment we were right and you were wrong. Absolutely agree Parkez. I have said all along be aware that all that glisters is not gold. The current economic uncertainty is a ready made excuse. Still we all bought into the AK story and only have ourselves to blame. Surely the certainty of some posters on here must be beginning to waiver as the market says down 6%. Must go now and prepare foe the usual troll abuse. And Derby won as well. Bad day all round.

Gentlemen Yes I was just referencing PC01s recent post. But there again any comment on here could be untrue. Who knows after all it is just comment. The facts are that we are now down in the 7s and still you are not prepared to accept any adverse comment. Believe you me it gives me no pleasure to be a £100k down . The company is too small...… Does this mean that our product is not truly world beating but one of a few top of the range offerings? It is clear we cant be all things to all people so perhaps some focus is needed Cant wait for the H1 update but this does indicate that any big wins are as far away as ever i.e. very confident means definitely not in the bag yet

Precisely the sort of comment that stifles debate ie my view is the only right one . We all know that CPX has possibilities but the SP doesn't back that up. You see no risks others do. I don't encourage you to buy more please allow others the right to their point of view

To the critics let me say I ham perfectly prepared to argue my corner but in this case I reported JamesHinvest. He along with others sometime ago goaded me into proving that I was indeed a stock holder. In order to do this I sent him a screen shot of my portfolio summary in August 2018. Since that time he has on several occasions released details of my other holdings and averages. This is strictly personal information and not for him to share. In a recent posting he released full details of all my holdings a move that I thought was inappropriate and unacceptable. I therefore complained to LSE in that it contravenes board rules . They deleted the relevant posts. They advise they are investigating matters further. In my mind it is quite clear in that while you may not share my views I do not resort to any form of personal attack but if subjected to one I will respond. My conscience is quite clear.

Don't kid yourself if CPX is ripe for a take over AK will ensure he is taken care of (before any of the LTHs). Seen it all before. I note some of you are getting twitchy. Oh dear I have been twitchy for a year or two now.
Incidentally what is evidence that IIs alone have been accumulating lately. Could it be much of the shares acquired came through the recent subscription? What I think everybody agrees on is the fact that all SHs need to here something form AK but I suspect radio silence will be maintained until the H1 report.

But didn't I hear somewhere in one of AKs presentations that Maxwell was not in very good financial shape having overstretched it self in China?

I hope you are right TT but please have the good grace to accept that there is no such thing as a dead cert. You always tend to dismiss adverse comment with personal slurs. All that demonstrates is your lack of manners. And by the way the fact that IIs are possibly investing means not a lot as if they really knew what was going on they would have bought Maxwell rather than CPX

Thanks TT, Clare and 3.14 for your useful contributions. I may not have your technical insight into supercapacitors and the market place but what I do know is that CPX success will be all about achieving profitable sales. Now that we have a major player taking over a rival, things can go one way or the other. If it turns into a fight there will be only one winner especially if the prize is so big. I think this year’s half year report and commentary should give us a clear indication of which way things are heading. At the moment the ongoing silence simply says that there is so much uncertainty. OK guys what are the real implications of this deal. Maxwell at least has a foot in the car market (Volvo) and now has Tesla. What has CPX got so far ...nothing. Is this acquisition a good thing or bad thing for CPX?. Yes it says supercapacitors are becoming increasingly appreciated but that means diddly squat if we have no contracts . So come on you techies how does CPX product stand up to Maxwells and why have we not signed anyone up yet ? This to me is just another concern unless somebody convinces me otherwise
