Does anyone have a grip on what the monthly cash burn is and how many months we have left ?. AK has already raised concerns re cash flow. and the existing cash in bank must include the recent "placing" funds which were supposedly ring fenced. Realistically is there likely to be another fund raise later this year

If one assumes a modest increase in royalties FY 18/19 shows a circa 20% decrease in total revenue and circa a third in direct sales. This is unsustainable so surely 19/20 is make or break for AK ?
This proves is that all the ramping is meaningless and based on quicksand as potential sales mean nothing, only actual sales . Lets hope AK has a rabbit to pull out of the hat

Being realistic is it likely that anybody is waiting on the result of this case before jumping one way or the other?. I would have thought that procrastinating on making a commercial decision for that long would be unthinkable. Now if it goes against us well I can see the possible implications but in the short term I cant see how this would affect sales. Thoughts ? What would be happening in the meantime ..are they allowed to carry on producing the offending product ?

Careful Hayashi or else you will be branded a troll with multiple accounts. I have often said my base position is that I don't truly trust any BOD. This share is presently attracting various conspiracy theories and if the truth be known we are all simply pawns in someone else's game. All we can hope for is that eventually CPX's SP reflects its true worth (whatever that is).

Good old Claret still chuntering on about multiple accounts and conspiracy theories. I have no doubt that many dirty tricks go on when it comes to share manipulation but that's a fact of life until it is stopped but sadly money will always talk. Sadly the more cautious amongst us are seen as a part of this syndrome when we are simply people who need convincing that which is being claimed is true or not. Good point Patch but the difference is I am gambling with my money, rather than gambling with everybody's future. If it doesn't work all the leavers will be looking for somebody to blame and there will be riots on the street. We all know its a right mess and while I was a great admirer of his Cameron was to blame for calling the referendum although I understand his reasoning. Europe likes CPX divides opinion.

IWGROD. No you don't remember correctly. I think leaving will be economic suicide. I have however listened to the debate and realised that there are many things about the EU which are annoying but on balance I believe there is more for than against. The biggest is of course that 44% of our exports go to the EU whereas 8% of theirs come to us. The question therefore is "is it worth the gamble". You cant expect us to give the EU a punch in the nose and not expect some recourse. Having said that the biggest dividend of the EU to me has always been 50 years of peace. Interesting case re Boris though.

And of course if we leave with no deal it will put the European economy in a state of turmoil. But never mind we have our new man in Europe sorting it out for us. Will we end up as a wrong place, wrong time company?. I hope not.

Well TT given that the downtrend has been continuous since Jan when were in the 9ps I think its fairly obvious that the uptrend has to start sometime (or is it)

It does seem that with TT making just 4 posts in the last month the arch ramper has "withdrawn" and been replaced by a new kid on the block. The problem is that we have all heard this tremendous potential blurb for years now and we never seem to get over the line. My concern is that AK may be a tremendous engineer but a poor business man. So far we have had what nearly 15 consecutive yearly losses. His communication skills are poor and I guess we all know we are pawns in someone's game. I still hold in the hope I will recover my losses but my alarm bells are ringing loud and clear. The ultimate judgement is do you still have faith in AK? I put little store on royalties which represent about 20% of total income. It is direct sales which need to fly.

Or will someone say that perhaps OS and all his cautious troll pals had it right i.e. don't trust any BOD

PC01 . I think in your original posting you stated one of the cases was expected to be settled in our favour with a circa 2000%ish return on costs. There are however 2 cases so is it true to say the second is more contentious/less clear cut. Either way if the first is true there would be little chance that both cases in total would put us at any financial risk??
