Email rec'd from FCA TT . Spoke to them separately. Please proceed as you see fit . You will find nothing. I trust you will publish the results of your enquiries and put an end to your diatribe once and for all
Dear Sir
Thanks for contacting the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) via our webform.
In response to your matter, I understand you have concerns in how you are being perceived by individuals associated with the bulletin board on LSE, regarding CPX. Hopefully I can provide some useful information on this matter and guidance for resolving it further.
Our role and remit
We're tasked with regulating the UK financial markets as a whole and in order to do this we must remain impartial. This means we’re unable to investigate or intervene on individual cases; however the information consumers supply us with is extremely valuable as it gives us an idea of how customers are being treated and how firms operate in the market.
Although the details of this case will be logged appropriately, it does appear this is in relation to an activity we wouldn't regulate. Therefore, we won't have specific rules regarding this and we're unable to comment much further as it relates to an element which falls outside our jurisdiction.
Your next steps
It appears you have already taken the appropriate steps I would have recommended, in terms of raising the case with LSE. I would only suggest to stay in touch with them further for any updates.
I hope this information helps and if you need to speak to us further on this matter then please don't hesitate to contact us again.
Kind regards,
xxxxxxxx
