I think since Spire the only definite announcement we have had relates to TDK and here as you know the figures involved have been withheld. The $20m figures suggested are not actual just potential. Kencarv. One of the main jobs of a Chairman is to ensure that his direct reports deliver. If not he should either change them or realise it will eventually be him who is answerable.

I see people are beginning to realise that AK is not perhaps as good a salesman as he is an engineer.

Well I for one don't smear you TT. I say brilliant tech means diddly squat, brilliant sales mean a lot more . We may have the former but the latter don't (as yet) match the hype

iWGROD. don't you get it I don't need to justify my investment in CPX its my money to do what I want with . My predictions for CPX in 2019 are if AK does not deliver this year, his head will be on the block. Jam tomorrow only last for so long. I don't deny many on here have a far better understanding of the Tech than I (TT) but that does not mean we are selling enough. It seems that as S/Cs start to catch on there are more and more people possibly infringing so as to overwhelm our capacity to sue. We are a small fish in a big pond. I desperately hope we will succeed by I am wary of the risk that we might drown

Unusual for TIA to be personal but when he says "Because 99% of people prefer to see this board as a resource for research and posting of links to remind them why they invested in the first place" I rest my case.
I just wonder what they will say should they ever lose money on CPX if they don't deliver. Like most people I have lost money before on some investments (hence my inherent distrust of most BODs) . As I have constantly said I look for things that could go wrong whereas other look to justify their investment and that is what TIA (and most rampers) seek i.e. re-assurance. Oh well each to his own

Well OK guys how do you see 2019 ?. What makes you believe that without any shadow of doubt AK will deliver and what will you do if he doesn't. My comment essentially says "well he hasn't delivered for the last 10 years so what makes 2019 any different"? Please justify your blind faith.

2019 will be a make or break year for CPX. Over the last few years CPX have become experts at saying we have invented X , Y or Z and it will start to really take off in 18 months time. To date those predictions have not materialised. The next 6 months will be crucial to AKs credibility. If he does not deliver I fear many previously patient LTHs will jump ship. Even the most faithful supporters must be becoming frustrated.

Well lets hope so James. It seems that after nearly 7 years we have made little progress (in terms of sales) in the automotive market. We also need to know the score with the patent case and TDK

Interesting debate on the telly over the weekend which concluded that the real huge numbers of sales for electric cars will be in China. I wonder what the chances are of the Chines utilising our technology? Still only about 8 weeks until we here some news. Happy New Year everybody

Kencarv. You just don't get it do you. I am in my 70s, I have more than enough cash for my needs so I have wedge in CPX. That gives me the right if I am so inclined to criticise the management of the company. I am exercising that right. So I will politely ignore your advice. This is as PC01 a little company which could so easily go belly up but equally change that figure on the left hand side of my portfolio considerably (upwards). Its a gamble.

Parkez Its no good pointing this out as some of the rampers don't live in the real world. The real world is just like my household budget i.e. you cant spend more than you earn. Since 2006 AK and CPX have been able to keep afloat because of share subscriptions and Aussie taxpayers refunds. His claim is that "but we have been working towards a profit and inter alia waiting for the world to catch up with our technology" .Currently the market has less faith in him than he does in himself. I know its not as simple as that but most investors are fed up with his jam tomorrow promises. The rampers only response is well why dot you sell then.

You may be right but as I have oft said "business is simple i.e. you create a product that people want to buy at the right price". Gives us the evidence of actual sales and I will be the first to congratulate AK. At the moment nobody knows what happening regarding royalties with question marks about Murata and TDK and as regards their own manufacturing all we know for sure is that they have twice raised several millions. It may well be that all will come good in the end equally it could all go T..U.., There is a risk whether you like it or not. How much of a risk is the question.

Grow up you lot . The SP is down because people are losing confidence that the promised "turnaround" is too slow in coming

The problem is that IWGROD you don't allow my views without challenging every single one. The situation is that for years now some posters have been posting x.y and z and saying all is rosy we are on a winner here. I choose to say yes have heard it all before , I believe it when I see it. Meanwhile the SP has halved . So who has been right the rampers or the likes of myself who are certainly cynical. A feature of this board is that rampers try and out derampers as trolls all the time while the opposite seldom applies. CPX may well have world beating products but the question is can they sell enough. We of course don't know because of confidentiality agreements ! Maybe the confidential bit is that we aren't ,,,Spire ?? Who knows ..hence the erosion of sentiment

Gentlemen . If you study my recent postings you will find that I have recently hardly posted at all until somebody said about a week ago something along the lines of "look like OS's credibility is on the increase" with reference to the ever falling SP and AKs silence (JH I believe) . I simply responded to that by saying "yes I wish I had followed my own advice" , it was nothing to-do with the directors taking shares in lieu of salary which can never be regarded as a bad sign. I did object though to recent issue to the staff at a discounted price which they then sold. So there...

Clare and 3.14 I have always queried those who blindly follow "direction" (or lack of it) and I try and justify the reasons why. However with your advice its a no brainer. Its purely personal and "simply ignored"
