I note that several "P.... off" are starting to appear in posts and if there is some sort plot going on here then this must be manna from heaven to the perpetrators. With the new product due out in Aug ? why has the successful launch not been shouted from the rooftops. Irrespective of what one's investment plan is for CPX's shares the buck must stop with AK. I must say I am becoming more and more disenchanted with him and his ability to lead his company to the promised land and in my eyes is fast becoming a man of straw. It cannot be right that genuine investors are saying "we have to wait until Oct" for re-assurance. So AK please get off your backside and communicate. Meanwhile the Aussies are teaching us a lesson on the Cricket field !!

It is difficult to quantify the commercial effect as one has to understand the ongoing customer retention figures as well as the capital and running costs involved and the current profit margin. Come what may it delays the route to profit . By how much and over what times who knows.

I see a Michael J Hennigan has appeared as a large shareholder . Anyone any idea of what his interest would be? . He appears to be an American Oil and gas man although of course he may just be an ordinary punter with more money than us

All these theories are just peripheral noise to me. There is only one thing which will increase demand and the SP ( in this respect Trading is right) and that is sales/revenue as reflected in the Oct statement. The problem then with having large block holders, is if the figures are not good and they decide to sell it would make the SP bomb. Lets hope we get put out of our misery before then

Would it not be fair to say that some these IIs are companies who operate Nominee accounts so not a single "entity"? I would also be interested in understanding what form any fireworks would take should a 50% plus grouping become established i.e. a summary of the politics going on here

Fair enough. I guess very much depends on where their sell point is as the sudden dumping of large amounts of shares will drag the SP down. Still the foregoing is all about perception and confidence . Should be an interesting month

JH You seem to have the belief that IIs are better judges of risk that PIs . Provide me the evidence and I will assess your observation. For my part I only ever once took advice from a financial adviser and he lost half of my pension lump sum. Shares are absolutely a gamble be you a PI or II. I do however see Directors investing as usually a good sign

Thanks NGNLNV. Pse ignore the "intellectual amoebas" on this board who ramp continually. I will however admit I am an eternal pessimist as shares can be a mugs game designed to part you from your money. Unlike the rampers I don't ask that anyone takes any notice of my comments, I just like to give my opinion. I am incidentally a 74 year old retired gent and not in the employ or anyone although strictly subservient to the wife.

Ngnlv. Lets face it we all invested in CPX because we bought into AKs "story". He is an engineer who set up his company on an R and D basis which meant that the Aussie government paid half of his wage bill. In over 10 years the company has never broke even . The company is small and made up of 20 plus boffins (PHD standard) who research the next big thing viz supercapacitors. There is however a big difference between designing something which will overcome x. y and Z problems and producing something which sells. That's when marketing skills come to the fore . AK is an engineer not a business man and that is perhaps the problem i.e. he does not truly understand supplier/customer principles. Also he does not appear to understand investors/shareholders. I have oft said business is about producing something that people want to buy. So far this has patently not been the case. There are others who say all of this should be ignored as this is AIM and ups and downs and risks are all part of the game . In essence the value of the SP is essentially at AKs fingertips and he is not a communicator. Now whether there is an ulterior motive or there is nothing to tell who knows. I continue to hold as I believe supercapacitors are about to go global . Whether we get a part of the cake remains to be seen . We are a small fish in a big pond.

That was going to be my question ? Lets hope that it is Loxus who have conceded. If so what we need to do is turn the win into money. Come what may AK should let us long suffering LTH know ASAP

It would appear that with TDK and CDE "losing" their challenges that our IP is standing up to scrutiny but here again little detail has been reported about the settlements . Are they (royalties) backdated or just ongoing ? We are all just pawns in AKs game which is to let us know what he wants us to know. As my old man used to say "trust no-one when it comes to money"

The ultimate question is do you believe AK what says. Like everyone else I believed in his spiel but now I am not so sure. Now that is based on historical CPX's achievement record evidence, so does that make me a troll or an idiot.? Time is running out

As always you don't answer the question? The suggestion was from Claretjay that the current case could involve an infringement of our Truckstart patent. However lexos say that their technology is patented ie not being applied for, so I think it fair to assume their patent does not infringe on our prior patent . I therefore think it reasonable to deduce that the court case is nothing to do with Truckstart. If you disagree please persuade me rather than mock me

So are you saying CPX are challenging an application by Loxus to register a possible truckstart patent or are they challenging them for infringing one of our previously registered patents? My point is that Loxus are saying that they are already patented which tends to indicate their product has passed muster. I think Truckstart is a red herring.
