While I have not been back through all the old papers I think 5% was mentioned perhaps on one of the licensees, whereas others were described as being "in line" with other agreements. Come what may all we are really interested in is the total figure and what it contributes to the bottom line. One off lump sums are great but they are not recurring revenue and should be looked on as a bonus. Meanwhile the 17th has come and gone!!

That's what I am suggesting i.e. they may be paying on ongoing lesser percentage than everyone else. These one off fees disguised the true profitability situation for a while and that income has to be replaced . I am assuming in the short term there will be a damages figure from CDE (plus some retrospective payments) and then we will have to wait for ongoing royalties to catch up . Lets hope that sales explode and the two outstanding cases are settled quickly. Meanwhile an RNS would be nice

I always play devils advocate and would be interested in knowing the details of the CDE case. The RNS says licensing two patents (or was it families) but how many patents were supposed to being infringed i.e. did we settle for some of what we wanted or did we win lock stock and barrel. The interesting thing will be how much money it generates. Also why did AVX pay three separate lump sums up front when everybody else pays just royalties (or are they paying a lesser ongoing percentage)? We will of course never know but its the saying nothing which generates my queries. Sorry more uninformed troll rubbish

It has always seem strange to me that they give notice of results why not just post them. Still as has been said before the 18/19 results are known not to be earth shattering and the hope is that the 19/20 outlook will be a bit/lot more rosy. Any thoughts about new deals is pure speculation . I guess what we all want to know are AKs reasons for his total silence in recent months. Has he been concealing bad news or have there been a lot of in commercial confidence negotiations going on. That is the question. All will soon be revealed.

1. If that’s the case, we should expect significant increase in royalties for 18/19
2. I thought the prediction was August 2019 but not a word yet
3. Yes they raised money for this but not a word since. Recent delay in expected RNS concerns me
4. Spent a couple of years trying to persuade Maxwell to sign but have now decided to take on one of big boys. Will this turn out to be a drain on funds? Expect an early win or a long drawn out and expensive fight?
5. Meanwhile having fought long and hard to get to this stage will our technology be overtaken

JH Invested £25k of previous profits in 2015 after coming across an AK presentation. Believed in his rhetoric and invested more in 16/17. Its all money I can afford to lose but like everyone I am greedy from the big one. So should have sold at mid-teens but didn’t. As the SP falls you look for someone to blame and in the case of CPX its AK. Its his job to lead CPX to profit and he also has a duty to appraise his shareholders of events. At the moment I consider he is failing in both. Incidentally I don't care if some consider me a moron. I believe many rampers are living in cloud cuckoo land but have the good grace not to tell them

No need to ask permission JH just go ahead unless its something stupid like why are you invested or why don't you sell. The bottom line is however its my money I can do what I want with it and comment as I see fit about its performance . Equally you don't have to take any notice whatsoever of what I say (I wish)

The question is what is balance. It can be one person stating the pros and cons or it can two people one for and one against. Personally I don't care which. I am certainly one of the few against on here and I don't why the majority get so wound up, I Have openly admitted that I don't know one end of a supercap from the other but I am of age where I have some spare cash and I have speculated it to increase my pile. I have made a lot of money and lost a lot but as I say business is simple, produce something people want to buy then sell it. Its no good speculating about what your product could be used for its getting the actual customers that is the important thing. So far AK has not delivered that and that's why the SP is where it is

Repression. There was never any sort of investigation. It was just TT pretending to be someone important. Look everyone I want AK to report huge income just as much as everyone but I have been around long enough not to believe everything we are told and look for the catches. I have also learnt never to trust any BOD. My fear is that AK has called it wrong and been out of sync with the market. I have no evidence other than the SP and the absolute silence. I hope for the best but fear the worst

Well didn't I read somewhere Graham that you had sold up as you were worried they would run out of money and were heading for a placing. I have always highlighted on the risks whereas other choose to accentuate the positives. Look at the SP who was right?. Still the rampers will never admit that risks exists and simply deride those dare to mention the possibility. Their only response is why don't you sell , I wonder how many of them are continuing to buy. Meanwhile the downward spiral continues.

Both I cannot help but admire your technical understanding but my interest is much more basic. Mine is all about converting our products/IP into sales/revenue to boost the SP. You raise questions far beyond my understanding but ultimately what we all want to know are the answers. Is out technology/products going to generate revenue and no matter how much you take the pxxx that is the only thing that will "save us". So pose all the questions you want there is inly one thing that will placate me and that is money through the door. Profit is sanity

Usually it says they will be posted on a specific date usually a couple of weeks later. Any how it isn't the results that are important, it will be the form of words used to describe "the outlook" (apparently)

I must confess I don't understand the technical side of what constitutes a global IP. All I know is that to date it has not generated a lot of revenue. We have been assured that supercaps will "go viral" when the industry catches on to them. All I know is that to date the year this should have happened comes and goes, and now we wait in anticipation. All I hope Surprised is that you are right and that 19/20 will be "the year"
