People it seems to me that your defence if research is the only way forward with regards any share is based on the fact that you got lucky and have one multi bagger. Apart from that you like AK. Now whether that is a scientific approach I will let others decide. It is however your way of doing things. However no one way is right all the time and investing in shares is always a gamble. I tend to look at the basics and I don't think the model adopted by CPX will turn out to be profitable. The fact that the company has never turned a profit since its inception supports my line. Please note that I have not trashed your point of view just politely disagreed with it. Tip read Allenbys reports (for what they are worth)

People do your research CPX was predicted to be in profit in 18/19 but that came and went now its 19/20. We shall see. You will find that much of what has been forecast has not been delivered, Still whatever. I still believe I bought in at a reasonable level but it will never be the multi bagger I envisaged.

I don't want the board to say anything to me. I am simply giving my opinion as I see it. I may be entirely wrong but I certainly don't look at matters through rose tinted glasses. Everything is about perception i.e. its not what you do that is important its what people think you do. At the moment because of the silence don't blame people for possibly thinking all is not well.

Research is fine but can be meaningless. Business is simple, make a product that people want to buy . So far CPX has not done that. Every year they predict they will buy, then come up with an excuse as to why it did not happen. Still no point in these tit for tat exchanges. I am less than happy with AKs performance , you believe the technology will get us out of jail. Lets hope you are right.

Tell me People is it possible that one of the reasons any companies SP goes down is because the management don't understand the market place? If people are not buying is it possible that they are producing the wrong product i.e. there is no market. I know it was quoted that AK referred to illiterate engineers some time ago. Now that may well be the case but what is the point of manging a company "ten years ahead of its time" which sells nothing ? If you believe that AK and the board have played a faultless game then say so.

People. If you go back through my old posts I suggested that Trumps trade war might affect sales but was told I was talking rubbish. What you fail to do with all your posts is attempt to explain why after 5 years of company hype and BB ramping the share has dropped from mid teens to 4p. Either which way you look at it something ahs gone wrong . In such circumstances people tend to say "who is to blame". I tend to question whether strategically AK and the BOD have done a good job for its investors. Simples. You say don't worry its all coming good at last. I am not so sure. Now you can criticise my approach all you want but it doesn't change my mind that I have little confidence that the business is being run by "proper salesmen" rather than dreamland engineers.

People it seems your only form of defence is attack. OK you are technically right about Maxwell but the facts are that by telling them of their infringements they were putting them on notice but failed to act on that warning for what 18 months . Why ? I have no problem with your positive research I simply ask the question how will this convert into cash. Presently the licensees are slowly increasing but in real terms royalties produce peanuts. I don't know enough about the industry to judge how a company like CPX will pan out. All I know is that after 4/5 years of continuous hype we are down in the 4ps but you are not critiquing why?

I note there is no heading for "business performance". It would read "despite being heavily subsisted by the Australian Government this R and D a company has never posted a profit in the 20 years AK has been at the helm".
I accept that most people don't want to hear anything but good about CPX but please lets have a dose of realism. This is a high risk share which has to learn to develop products that people will buy or else it is heading for a TO which will be manipulated probably to our disadvantage

Wonderful research again but as PC01 not a lot of good unless we start selling some. It seem lately that more and more people are tending to lean towards a TO as the most likely solution to the present malaise.

I thought that CDE was "bigger" than Ioxus i.e. 35000 customers, whereas action was only started against Maxwell after a couple of years of failed licensing talks. Therefore I presumed Ioxus was less lucrative than CDE and that Maxwell was likely to be protracted. But there again what do I know

Oh People power you are so right. The trick is of course knowing "what you can afford to lose". I've made my pile and my attitude its my money I can do with it what I want (whilst of course providing for our old age). Doesn't stop me being PRO though. With interest rates so low there is no encouragement to save so I have gambled mine

Cornish you are of course entitled to your perception. I hope to god you are right but having signed many of the big players already (who in real terms don't generate that much money yet) any real meaningful big win must come from direct sales. Either way I cannot see how this justifies delaying the results being issued. Others will say "but its the outlook that is important" but I don't buy that as any big win could simply be covered by an RNS. Come what may we need some information....please

Iwgrod. Don't you think that I have sent E mails to various individuals in CPX? As you probably know , they don't reply. So in the absence of any info all one can do is moan on this board, The longer silence is maintained the more I become convinced that there could be an exit strategy involved here. And please don't say but his shares are also down at 4p as there are ways and means that individuals can be "looked after". I have seen all this before and don't trust anyone when it comes to money. You and I can both speculate about what is going on but IMHO it doesn't smell right. Hardly a scientifically defendable stance but nevertheless its mine

**** me off all you want but I suspect there is not one shareholder who is not totally pxxxd off with the BODs attitude towards its shareholders. It seems strange that our fellow shareholders cant allow us (and understand) our opinion without feeling the need that they have to make some derogatory remarks

I agree JH we all know absolutely nothing . AK is the only person who knows anything and he is certainly not communicating. You can speculate until the cows come home as to what his motives are but I always err on the side of a long held "lesson" i.e. don't trust any BOD

Gentlemen. I don't have a clue whether the recent link is a great find or not . I am not a techie. What I do know however is that any AVX royalties alone contribute between 5 and 10% of total CPX revenue and as such it alone will not make a huge difference. It may well be that 19/20 is "the year" when supercapacitor sales take off. What I am saying is that we have heard it all before from previous "super rampers" and I will only believe it when I see it
