Well there's good Covid and then there's not so good Covid, but there is no evidence to suggest the vaccine will not work on the new strain. T. That is certainly true of oil and telecoms. God knows why. They don't appear to have resolved any issues that caused the fall i.e lack of demand and Huwauie sacked. M. so its not just senility setting in. I think the quote screen is way to small to read all the info in 15 seconds. Sometimes it seems to make an assumption that you want to sell even after changing it to a buy. I suppose the clue should be in the price but that changes rapidly on certain stocks. So if you see what looks like a good sell or buy price you want to take it quick, thus forcing the error.
T. Was a bit surprised by the MCRO bounce ahead of the USA who have a bit of ground to catch up. Seem to be heading down to meet them halfway at the moment.There was quite a bullish tip from Alpha share recently. IF Boris brings home a deal and the fed agree to another stimulus package should catapult us into next year with any luck.

S. Just read your reply. Just shows how random our trading can be. I guess in the long run it won't matter providing you are trading the right stock to begin with. It must have been our own mistakes I guess, but in the heat of the moment with internet trading and the seconds counting down there is quite a lot of information to look at. Bought some more Saga on another dip and CAPD who are drilling a massive project for CEY in Egypt. Yes my son is still on course thanks. Only 3 in chain, just waiting on searches. Anyone else had this happen on IG. I waited till the American markets opened and then tried to buy back my Mcro shares. I thought thats a great price except it executed a sell. So I then bought back twice as many which has now made up the difference thank heavens. So thats cost me two lots of stamp duty. I should have remembered I'v so nearly done this before, but the first time its happened. On I web you have a choice of buying so much value or so many shares. that can be really exciting to mix up if you want ten grands worth of AZN and they think you want 10,000 shares at £80 a pop!

Boo have apparently been getting quite a bit of negative customer feed back. One customer claiming what he or she describes as toilet paper/ I thought that was what fashion was all about, cheap and crapola. T. Thanks for filling me in on Asos . I thought I must have a huge whole in their history somewhere. I think I last traded them around £3.60 when M&S online clothes and furnishings were thought to be some kind of challenge to them! 'The rest is history' as they say.
I have an investment in a small Israeli company MWE who do automated irrigation and 5g antennae. interesting mix of businesses. The chart is almost exactly the same as MCROs over the the last few days. Absolutely no connection, but enjoying the ride in both.
S. Really annoying when there is a potential seller in the background which I am pretty sure is the only thing holding Saga back. Most Investment companies with half a brain would find another investment company to flog them to and cut out the middle man. I actually was told this by a company years back, when they said if they had known the investment company which was trying to sell out on the open market had talked to them first they would have got them a far better deal with another institution. Yet another example of why investment trusts are mostly crapola.

So I told them where to stick my credit rating. Still got IG. I find it quite hard to navigate, all these different platforms open. The one thing that is good about IWEB, Saga sharedeal, Barclays. Lloyds they all seem to use the same layout. Really easy to use for div history, trade history and valuation page, So great for tax returns. Just a shame their execution service is so poor. MCRO finished up at £4.26 in the US. See how we go today. Strange about Saga retrace with all that volume I was surprised. Probably get another RNS from Sentanta soon, but equally would have thought more Institutions would be getting in. Too many burnt fingers?

My first reaction was they've missed the boat by 2 years. A lot of towns and cities will have hotel businesses that will put even more pressure to regulate what actually counts as air bnb. It started out as rent a couch and has turned into whole blocks of flats and grand houses being let out as air bnb. Its been great have let a house out as air bnb myself , booked holidays in wonderful places. It works really well for guests and hosts. trouble is its too good to be true and I think there will be serious industry pressure (purple palace and others) after this Pandemic to 'guide' us back to the establishment regime . So I'm not going to invest. Wouldn't be surprised if it got pulled, on the other hand there will be pent up demand. A lot depends on regulators who have already acted in some countries.

S I'm in Saga and staying to double again and more, have stopped trying to second guess Saga or MCRO. I can't anyway as utterly useless IWEB doesn't work again. Was planning to sell all the under performers to put in in to these two. Already cost me plenty. Applying to transfer all my holdings to Jarvis now.
