Morning all. T, I think you absolute right about Haaahan**** being set up. An eager fool to please his masters. Give him enough rope and let him take the flack. Javid and Boris seen to have been suspiciously polite and flattering about what a great bloke he is and how he will return to public service. More likely some community service.
Boris is very good at extracting himself from piles of manure and coming up with roses. I think his problem will be the future relationship with Rishi whose profile is rising daily. Javid also has the profile of an earnest selfless honourable man. They could make a very strong respectable team. There is no opposition. Starmer, after looking a potential saviour has disappointed so far, clearly struggling to get any cohesion in a team. The Liberal Dems are just hideous, Jeremy Thorpe, Nick Clegg ( as easily manipulated as Haaaaan**** and now employed in the evil Facebook empire). Cyril Smith the obese paedophile, Charles Kennedy I quite liked him when he was sober, sadly not long enough run a country, no charisma Vince Cable had is moment in privatising Royal Mail, but now embroiled in the Post Office debacle. Jo Swinsom, never really got close to being Prime Minster , now professor at top management school, how not to do it.
Consistently climbing out of vats of manure untarnished if a little crumpled is just so British. I wouldn't be surprised if leaving a box of soggy top secret papers on Putin at a bus stop turns out to be another Boris master stroke. Somehow he makes me fell safer as our PM in a desperately hopeless sort of way.
