Should never have fallen from 105 to 111p to 50p / 60p based on those frivilous accusations and apparent civil case based on what is effectively 885 tons of crushed stone products. That's 885 skip bags that you get delieverd from your local Builders merchants.

Then what share price on top for a lasting Peace to bring to an end 3 years of bloodshed, death and destruction and economic hardship. Ukranian operations back up to full steam ahead, no power cuts, no rail lines out and domestic demand for reconstruction like nobody has seen before.

Of all the people out there, and like him or loathe him, Donald J Trump has got a good rapport with both Putin and Zelenski, and both have been indicating a willingness to engage in talks. If he, Donald J is optimistic he can get a deal, then so am I.

Equally, the charge also states that the "extraction of Crushed Stone" is ruining the environment. How so? If the charge is filed by the Police, why is it a Civil Charge & not Criminal? I think what now looks like a frivolous clain plus a very good chance of a peace deal succeeding is why people are seemingly buying in.

That plus probably the fact the share price is still at about a 20p to 25p discount to where it was 2 or 3 days back, and the rest if 3 years of war gets ended.

It's probably Goldman Sachs buying after their stunt with the broker note last week, didn't buy much slack Imvho.

People are buying for two reasons.

The first is the frivilous nature of what is a civil claim and ficticious numbers and the Kiev Independent letting everyone see how small in real terms any supposed wrongdoing is. Bear in mind it is an "accusation" and which the company in any case denies.

But more than that the second reason is that there seems to be the best chance in many years of a Peace dividend in Ukraine with a Trump Plan and after his comments yesterday.

Frasers acquiring 5% of THG and the dial on the share price not having changed just makes a mockery of the notion that Kelso might actually pay a premium to the present share price for a minority stake.

The City clearly has an agenda against THG or Matt Moulding in not letting this rise. It's clear that 5% are for the time being now out of reach and that any short shares have been feeding straight into Ashley / Frasers stakebuilding. Brave therefore to keep trying imvho. Then you have what will be needed for FTSE250 inclusion (should they actually be allowed to make the cut off)

Those comments are straight from the horses mouth - Mr Trump himself and in response to what was an impromtu and unscripted question with no prior warning. Fair play to him for answering it as he did.

How on earth did this fall so much given the smaller monies involved.

You'd expect FXPO to fully correct itself back up to 105p to 110p in due course, especially given the real amounts involved and the US progressing a peace plan also.

It was a rhetorical question.

Just check how one is paltry one is in real terms and how the other (Ashley / Frasers) is now approx 10 times it's size.

Been offline for a couple of days on a break and just catching up.

Not been much news since the last weeks cracking update, other than I see and it's my opinion, a hooky Broker note off Goldman Sachs. I'd be interested what with things fast improving, what the working out was behind that one.

Seriously is there any Corporate Body out there that actually does check and scrutinise these broker notes for accuracy? On an ethical note is it also not questionable that several actually have vested interests for themselves and their clients in shares on which they report.

Surprising really that we haven't also seen any alternative Broker upgrades.

It's nice to see them short selling their shares into the marked so Mike Ashley can get some liquidity to pick them up.

It was as obvious as night following day that Frasers would be picking up extra shares on the recent dip. Above 5% now.

When Frasers get over 10% it will start to get bith interesting and worrying for Moulding.

For now the ease with which Ashley is accumulating his holding without shifting the share price much is interesting as well as the potential spanner it is likely to throw into the works of any Selkirk cut price deal.
