I think where Selkirk is concerned now Ashley is onboard with a sizeable holding it might mean Part 2 for THG gets cancelled as Selkirk won't be able to get away with any cheap mates rates rollover deals imvho.

Kelso in particular is particularly quiet given yesterdays news and how they kept going on about lack of strategy updates and premium listing not having brought in any new TR1's in 18 months (and that was 6 months ago)

OhhAhhCantona could be right and it could be a tactical play given the shenanigans at BOO, and Goold and Iain Mac being 2 of the BOO Directors who saw off Ashleys intentions there. You do get the feeling there will be more twists and turns on a windy road @ THG.

Looks like The Chancellor is set to put the meat on the bones of a taster statement made tonight in a full speach tomorrow on stimulating growth and the economy.

Central to it seems to be many key Infrastructure spending projects and mention of new rail stations / lines and given Costains strong relationship with several water companies 9 new reservoirs being built might be of benefit.

But he hasn't got enough money to play Pacman defence this time around plazahot as Frasers is too big to buy 10% or 12% to influence things, and he's just sold off Icon which means he has sacrificed some of the rent monies he would have had to play with.

You never know though, as they could all be in line for the annual round of Achievement bonuses (or is it underachievement), what with the successful demerger and all the successful decuisions and progress made and therby they can make up for their Newco "elections".

What is good is that it has drawn all the attention away from that really poor Golden quarter trading update and all the chatter of conflicts of interest.

It's an update and there's a presentation (and the Directors all paid 40p or above) so I think you might find yourself surprised.

Not here to convince. Just study the newsflow above, the Guidance, look at ITM Powerand Dennis Schulz on LInkedin and know whats happening with HAR1 and HAR2 in the UK, and at LIngen and wider in Germany at the moment.

Kelso went to great pains over the last 6 months to publicly mention that there hadn't been 1 new TR1 in virtually 18 months due to a lack of actions off the THG Board on several fronts.

Now one appears and they are visibly silent. Not a dickie bird out of them.

Has this now kyboshed any Selkirk "cheap shares" plan.

Or, with THG and MA to be fair you just never know, and could it actually be part of the plan?

Mike Ashley normally cements his partnerships with a buy in just after but @THG he didn't do it initially as he has done elsewhere. He / Michael Murray were probably wise to the potential for a demerger and waited, picking up £10M at 49p in the Placing. Then some of the rest probably nearer 35p / 36p last week.

That comparing to the circa 62.5p that share price was at when Frasers initial partnership with THG was first announced.

So he's after them on the cheap, as opposed to overpaying imvho.

I suspect though it will always provide good support if it goes under 38p / 40p.

Underpromise and over deliver.

Now lets see if SMA has worked his magic on all the Trump supporting trillionaires from all those functions he attended.

Moniman, Farasers are probably in a better position to put logistics work globally through Ingenuity.

I think the main question I'd like to know the answer to and which I guess we never will is, was it Michael Murray that initiated the purchase (fellow gym users) or was it Mike Ashley?

Although it probably means swings up and down, the latter I'd prefer as an agitant and holding the Board to account.
