I favour the third suggestion but still don’t understand why you wouldn’t set the bar at say 22.5 on what seems to be a rising market.

So if I didn’t know better I might suspect an ulterior motive in keeping the share price at that level. No idea what that motive might be though.

FFC. As I explained in another post there is a tendency amongst a certain section of this board to rubbish those with whom they disagree as “derampers”. I have far more shares than I am comfortable with if I put my rational hat on. But as I explained I’ve left rational behind and got emotionally attached. I’m not comfortable with that but when we are so close to knowing what is going to happen with stage 2 funding I’m going to back the emotional/irrational and just hope
I’m right. If my opinion is termed “deramping” then I will bite back.

I accept your take on my wording. Most days though all I read here is opinion. To repeat. The company is in a weak negotiating position for the reasons I put forward. IMHO

Ffc. My issue is that I have told on more than one occasion normally obliquely but sometimes directly that I am a member of a “deramping crew”. You will recognise the language. Nothing could be further from the truth. I will be delighted if by the end of the month this share is sitting at, say, 45p. My concern is that the lender will take more of that 45p than might seem fair. My personal opinion is that they will. And my opinion is as valid as anyone else’s. That is why a modest profit to today’s price will do for now. The situation is then derisked and a steady climb up to production with dividends to follow will do me just fine.

Chris I don’t doubt the quality of Poly4. The world needs more food and Poly4 looks like it can help with that. That is not the issue. The issue is where we get the funding from to get the stuff out of the ground. If we don’t get funding soon the money runs out. Simple. CF appears to have concentrated the company’s efforts on a single funder. That’s what bothers me. As for going elsewhere I have waited eight years for this moment. I’m not going to turn tail now. If It all goes wrong then I will be nursing a very big loss but the sun will still rise in the morning.

FF member I own a lot of shares but that doesn't BN stop me being concerned. My logic is very simple and doesn't need bags of analysis. The company is running out of cash. Whoever makes that cash available will strike a very hard bargain because they will want to maximise their own profit. The company is in a weak negotiating position. Therefore I'm concerned. I confess that I am breaking my own rule by forming an emotional attachment to SXX otherwise I would sell.

Beware, though, the accusations of being a member of one of those “decamping crews” that lurks in the shadows and replaces an earlier crew which has been outed by the Thought Police. The best board is a balanced board where all sensible points of view are listened to and we can listen and learn from each other. Amidst some good sensible discussion this board has long been the province of many numpties who tell each other just what they want to here. I too am up to my neck in SXX and want nothing more than a funded mine and a modest share price increase to reflect that. Wild suggestions of £1 parties and even 50p parties will remain nothing more than hot air until JPM or whoever has taken their doubtless significant pound of flesh,

Personally I would prefer Sirius executives to focus on developing the mine rather than turning it into a tourist destination. Once it’s up and running then maybe.

As I sit here smiling at all this nonsense and nursing my severely, almost terminally, damaged ego (I can barely hold back the tears) I reflect on my substantial holding in Sirius and hope that it comes good one day (probably some years in the future, mind, thus benefiting my loved ones rather than me). I just hope that all the expert LTHs have deep pockets when the rights issue comes - IMHO of course - I wouldn't want to say too much for fear of being labelled a member of one of those evil "deramping crews" now would I? I don't think I could bear the shame. To paraphrase Groucho Marx, I think, I wouldn't want to attend any £1 party that chose to invite me.
