Great post KOH. I myself was vilified by many for trying to be realistic. I left the board. Just popped back to see if anything had changed. It hasn’t. I’m in deep but am realistic enough to know I might lose the lot. Now is not the time to “top up because it’ll never be this cheap”. I’ve seen that from the “ramping crew” at 30p, 25p, 20p, 19p, 15p etc. Naive indeed. IMHO of course.

Nationalisation of a “national asset” a real possibility under Corbyn and Mc Donnell. After all we have stolen the asset from the workers.

I’ve done exactly that. I’m not adding to my holding but happy to sell at 16.75 and then take up rights issue at 15p. Any profit is a good profit.

I’d swallow that Jim if I didn’t think they were more or less right. Deramp or preach caution posters got pilloried for the contrary view. Only last night we were being told that the price would soon be back in the mid 20s. And when the day began 35, 50 even 80p. Yeah right. So if derampers only post for their own ends what is the function of ramping? I certainly won’t be bothering with any open offers. Good money after bad. And a long road back for many and disaster for a few. Get real.

I’m really sorry that you’ve lost so much money bobster. You’re right to say you should never get emotionally attached to a share. This situation has been caused for many by that and the incessant ramping of this share by people who truly believed that this was the road to riches. Ask yourself who has done more damage? The derampers or the rampers ?. The answer is very clear indeed. And sadly, if you read posts from yesterday evening, it is still going on.

No more cash from me dinger. I may leave some in but the bulk is coming out if we get to 30p. Why wait five years for divis when you can get decent returns from other miners like RIO which will produce the odd special too?

Trust me minesinthemine I’d happily stick with my reliable FTSE100 outfits and avoid the chance of a multi bagger like SXX. I can do without such multibaggers. And I’d spilt the difference and go 27.5p!

And before I go away and do something useful can I point out that whilst the immediate financial risk has been addressed the construction risk has not? The situation is not “massively derisked”. Look at Crossrail if you want an example of how things can go wrong and how costs can escalate.. And if they do go wrong we will lose yet more of the company and yet more cash. This isn’t deramping it’s realistic pessimism.

Richard. If you could bottle your optimism and sell it you would make far more money than you’re going to make on SXX. After today no deramping is necessary. The situation speaks for itself. Right now I would happily take 30p and walk.
