Hello thanglan. I have a few losers in the p/f but one or two are riding for nothing because I managed to sell some of the holding at a decent profit. Worst right now is Kazera Global but I am marginally ahead because I hold 1.2 million by averaging down too much. Still have blind faith it will come good - if I live that long! Only son is LD, autistic and epileptic, so when I pop off, the lot will be needed. Good health and luck and try to see the funny side of every (damned) thing!!

Thank you, Goldbug99, for some very useful information on my KDR. I do not doubt what you say about their finances and their snail like 'progress'.

I will, however continue to hold because of their position in Finland and the possibility that they will either strike coloured diamond or (more probable in my view) get taken out at some point after they actually manage to put a drill into the ground. I am an investor in KDR which I believe also has a financial interest here. In view of the increase in value of these shares and the fall in value of KDR, it would be quite logical and sensible for Conroy to mop up KDR.

Topps will RNS again this Tuesday on trading. Would be nice if there was news of Alusid's IPO but don't bet on it!

If you look down this column about a month ago there was a good legal opinion from a top London firm of solicitors who reckoned that the banks would win the case. not foolproof but I am invested here on that basis.
