But Ben will not want to do that and I, for one, can't blame him. With Ed M completely out of favour, these are still worth buying/holding for some sensible North Sea activity in due course.

No-one appears to have followed my last (no feedback) so I will make one final suggestion:
Look at the last paragraph or so of Synthomer's recent RNS. There you will find a rather remarkable fact about why they are expecting to do rather well out of what is happening in the Middle East.

Since ours are apparently under a lake, I cannot understand why we are not tunnelling from the shore right now just to prove they have a find. Even better if the lake stays frozen.
....this co was originally set up by Kuala Lumpur Kepong and it has done me fine, with more to come. The same Asian outfit hold a massive % of a co called Synthomer which I only discovered while surfing yesterday. Please have a look at Synthomer. I have now bought a few and they look very interesting right now.

KLK have been very good link for me in the past. They were behind Capital Metals now progressing well in Sri Lanka. So I shall have a few of these too!
....still takes nothing for granted. I hold a huge number in the p/f and added some months ago, so I am now probably marginally up. But as this new team unwinds the value, there is much further to go before I sell even the smallest % of my pile. These are still a huge buy!
Three years ago (before the currency fell out of bed in Nigeria) these were £2 and further back £2.50. The Niara is now stable so no reason why this should remain at this price.
Possibly not in my lifetime but comparatively soon. I would just like to see ONT hitting what their IP is actually worth and, in my opinion, that is over double its present SP. I hope my lifespan may extend that far!!
Surprised my lowball limit bid finally worked. Convinced they are over the worst with the Nigerian currency and will probably be subject of a bid soon.
I already have a chunk of these but if -as I suspect in this market) the results see the SP dive, I still have some cash uninvested and may well average down here.
