I have seen 'pundits' moaning that they make no annual profits, which is bound to discourage investors. Their model is responsible for this. They will only build up profits after the products of their inventions are in production and the terms of those contracts take effect. Under their contract terms of sale, the purchasers pay royalties to Purehealth and milestone payments. This will obviously take some years and until then, once their companies set up to invent hopefully are sold for big cash this will accrue to Purehealth but as capital. If, like me, you believe in that model, why worry about temporary lack of annual profits?
Was looking to buy Ilika but research led me here because their industrial reach was better. Now their battery conveyor belt for Ilika is coming good and I am nicely ahead. Moral: Before you rush in to an exciting spec do EXTENSIVE research.
Happy to hold here.
Uggy100 -bite the bullet like I did years ago. Lost some thousands and kept under 100000 shares written in my mind down to zero 'just for interest'! Much healthier.
Not likely! Especially since they have indicated they will pay any untendered as a dividend and it is obvious the NAV is close to double that. And what would you do with the money you get from the share tender? You would find it difficult to get better value than Puretech!!!
....if our investment manager (hm) has a super RNS up his sleeve for when this goes ex div?
Tick tock
This SP and also the NAV completely ignores the over £80 million shown in their last accounts in cash. Ok, they probably spent some on US expansion but thats nearly 20p a share!
Looked for first time. Interesting. The only prop I hold is SHC which is not dissimilar but not yet paying divi at this level since its merger with Cap&Cou, Expecting cash shortly to add to ISA and may add these.
....a further top up today, after looking again at Incanthera's SP! Now got my mandatory (ho hum) 300,000 which seems to be where I stop and wait om my speccies! On any news of progress with Lupuzor, these will motor beyond 10p and I will do what any canny player does and take out my stake money, and play with what is left. I hope I get that chance!!
...of the toenail!
A few things are happening now which might see the market generally perk up soon. ,
The BoE may helpfully start lowering interest rates, making decent divi-paying shares more attractive than banks in the medium term. Ukraine is getting weapons to fight Putin. And there is talk that Wishy Washy Rishi may decide to cut and run by bribing us then calling a quick general election. Not forgetting that LGEN's new boss has yet to give us the benefit of his initial musings (expected June). So plenty of reason to hold these until the SP begins with a 3 again.
....3 weeks left of the original 90 days, if my calcs are correct. C'mon you bluddy lawyers - ink it in!!
Of course policies will only be offered to teetotallers!
Good news today which should benefit IUG financially going forward. Still expect this to be gobbled up whilst it is still a 'bolt-on' in size but that's fine if it makes a 75% profit
Showing for late yesterday and decent quantities. Expect an uptick this morning.
Share options today oblique hint that Board have belief in future prospects, so mildly encouraging.
I'm hoping they might both have committed ferraricide!
Ando - from your lips to God's ears, Express please!!!!!
Long time no see, By the sea! Has she divorced you yet?!! Well not too long to go before Botswana nationalises Tlou and we all have a nice long court case to see us all in our respective coffins! Only joking - I hope. I did sell a third to reinvest but still got half a million. Who knows? Keep smiling.
StreetsJ - its a bit hard on the co to not credit them for expanding and that requires new trained staff and the overheads that come with that. I just hope that work continues to pour in. Otherwise they may have to contract rather than expand further. At present though, there would seem to be more and more defaults and that is good business for this co.
....there are other quoted shares in this sector who might be thinking what a perfect time to stick in a cheeky bid!
I am losing big time here but do not propose to cut losses. I might even buy more (again!) depending upon how they are perceived in coming weeks.
