The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
The reason for this welcome move? Has Trump woken up with one of our tags on his leg? Oh no, I'd forgotten he has to be convicted first!
.....market openings following each other but these continue to gently rise, having been written up for latent value. Not complaining but some positive news, however minimal, is needed to keep up the momentum. Otherwise the short-termers will spoil what there is of the momentum.
Silverblade, glad we agree but my view is that the manager is trying not to show exuberance in what is clearly not a time when infrastructure is in fashion. They can see clearly that we will be bought for yield as interest rates fall and, if anything, are being a trifle too downbeat! Not selling but my new tax year's ISA will be heading for more safe and boring relatively high yielders, like insurance cos and I may well trust Alliance T with more. All the best -Oldbut
...about time we had the nightmare experience of seeing some figures?
...with chunky divis and a good gamble that they will either split to encourage marketability or get a bid. There is even an outside chance in time that their Indian business could be floated off over there. Right now I am in profit if I sold but with so few, it's a hold at least until £65!!
For our testing co to give an update but I doubt whether it would be made public anyway. Holding for the Lupuzor approval and with it the mega bagger! Hope it happens in my lifetime!!
...should be in 2 weeks. Don't expect jam yet but hope it shows at least possible jam tomorrow and enough cash to avoid a raise.!
....regular updates, with at least some of them positive, to keep this on an incline. I now trust our board but they regrettably cannot work miracles, so we shall still have to sit tight and hope.
As one of the longest holders here, my best guess is before the end of 2025. How soon before then depends on so many factors it would be silly to guess. However, it is much less of a gamble now than it was a year ago. But still not for'widows and orphans'!!
His Bank is either in Nigeria or Haiti!
Smart thinking, Andoman99!
We might be sitting in the right place at the right time. Ironically this is my second time here, having lost a packet earlier on!
Sticking like glue to my holding now hoping for that magic 10=bagger!
....to predict future from what this co wants to disclose at this point. So I am taking a somewhat positive view.
Puretech have many other sponsored cos aiming at new drugs and therapies. Staying means you are joining the big boys from Invesco in supporting at least the next successful discovery, Taking some money off the table by tendering may be sensible depending on your risk profile and what you would do with the cash you receive. It is very unlikely that we will be told of any progress on another sponsored company before the tender offer because it would upset the tender offer viability. I am going to treat it purely like a dividend by tendering a modest amount and expecting it to be trimmed. Content to hold the remainder.
...next week? Hope so. Have a good one folks!
...more dead shops on more High Streets. If I owned these, which luckily I do not, I would drop them quick as a too hot crossed bun!
....I feel pretty sure they have drafted a potential RNS on the implications of the decision in the DAF appeal result but will want the wording vetted by lawyers and accountants before it is released to the market!
Attracted by the yield so creamed off a bit from other winners and started a holding here in ISA. As interest rates fall this SP should rise and since I am not in the bloom of youth (!) dividends matter,8% yield not to be sniffed at!
....£M9.16. Still laughable. A great BUY.
,,,,(and why not!)then this is yet more reason to hang on to these. More juicy profits to come. Well done, Ms Blanc!
Definite defensive tone to this and seems to have been negatively affected by current inflation.(Surprise, surprise!)
Still worth holding, particularly since falling inflation, assuming it continues, should benefit in the medium term.
Harvd - I emailed kzg's advisors earlier with the info about Andrada and just received a nice reply from their Paul Dulieu thanking me and saying will pass on to KZG in case they are not aware of Andrada's interests in Namibia!
Who knows? From little acorns.....
