Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Indicates how difficult is to evaluate this novel business. Will be interesting to see what the market makes of it. Methinks it is doubtful in these circumstances that they will commence payment of a dividend this year.
....we have seen the worst but has Ed learned his lesson?
'Mate =Bait, so don't listen at all or get independent advice before you throw OUR money at any supposed MATE.'
Remember you are an Investment Manager and SEED is supposed to be an investment TRUST!
Sure we overpaid THEN. But maybe, just maybe, LGP is on the way up NOW.
To 300,000. Eyeing a Ferrari!
Had to sell Goodwin (reluctantly) for a small but fairly quick profit which I used to average down here and had a bit left to increase my speccy CMET to 300,000.
......the less value to the co the tender will be. All new holders who may be eligible will tender their entiire holding and get nothing or perhaps a single £2.50.
.....and hold less than 100,000 just for interest, I think I need a 10-bagger now to cut even!
....'SENTIMENT, dear boy' affecting everything. Getting cash back from a 1 year fix for this year's ISA and aiming to bottom fish!
...this is Ed turning over a new leaf (preferably not THAT leaf)
I hope you are right, Fatman, but history is against you! He could do worse than look at a few AI juniors, but I fear his mates will talk him round, AGAIN!
With Sheffield is now halfway through! As soon as DD is over, I expect a big announcement and their interest rises to 14%
Since Griffin is already on our Board, I suspect all this is a formality but next RNS should come in next 30 days and expect to see this SP gap up possibly to as much as 10p before no doubt the fast buck merchants take profit!
Our new CEO said he would need until June before he could offer an informed statement about this company. From what Eccles04 has confirmed bearing in mind his depth of knowledge of the profession, our new CEO seems to have started well and I wish him all my good wishes. That was June 2024, I hope!!
Thanks JSB for your thoughtful assessment. I am a holder who feels positive about the potential value, one way or the other. It is also healthier that Invesco has sold down some of its massive interest. Obviously there are risks, but for patience there is a real opportunity for good results.
Today again positive but the SP falls! And that in spite of the promised tender to us at (at least) £2.50!! Seems a strange response but I am beginning to learn that right now there does not seem to be a lot of love out there for Puretech!
....has just spent £6250 of their hard-earned on a purchase here! If he/she is reading this, please enlighten us long termers as to your expectations!!
....sell our electricity to anyone at less than best price? The only possible answer is that to get this far Tony has made certain commitments I think. Beyond satisfying any such initially, I am confident he will only sell for best price. So my belief is to hold on because we first have to fulfil those commitments before any jam accrues. That may well only happen in the longer term.
....the month which in past years we have received news in RNS. Does not guarantee same now but would be nice.
Sorry... 3rd line should read 'already'
..... is huge good news for small shareholders who intend to keep at least most of their holding. Daphne hands over top management to someone with better management experience and we get someone alpeadt with full knowledge of the group and how it works. Also an exciting ( I hope) new subsidiary.
...about three weeks away. Bound to be interesting and , no doubt, understated as is Tony's usual style. With the wires all connected and the substation possibly working, it may be possible to run a test, but I may be jumping the gun on the substation! Confirmation of the cash situation is also necessary. If there are no holdups, it may be possible to plot a date next year when we could start producing electricity.
