Just seen tracer fire and what looked to be explosions in distance. Possibely a fire onscreen as well but outskirts of facility so not like main building. Scary stuff when peeps are fighting around nuclear power plants...with the legacy of Chernobyl in the area I can only hope both sides are being extra careful with shot placement o.0

One of the reasons I opted for Halifax, they don't loan out shares. Plus there's something to be said of investing via banks as opposed to platforms like freetrade or robinhood. See the Gamespot episode for my rationale there. It takes something major for a bank to prevent trading in a given stock, much less for a platform that just had an awkward phonecall with an II. IMO anyway.
Props for getting some commission free trades and then bailing once the dark pool of share lending was opened.

A more tactically minded (ie divisions marked along with topographical items like mountain ranges) map showing terroritorial changes. It does not paint a pretty picture, the UA division near Luhansk is in sever danger of encirclement. Even one of those (battle hardened) divisions being trapped/eliminated would render an attempt to break the siege of Mauriopol, by breaking off engagements around Donesk and Luhansk to join up the 2 elements, all but impossible. Kiev is now surrounded on two sides with what looks like Russian forces in position to drive a wedge between the UA forces in Kiev and those in or near Pryluky which would mean Kiev boxed in on 3 points of the compass.

Once again been at work all day and if I only listened to what was on thye radio I'd think UA forces are standing strong, breaks my heart to say it but these maps really are not painting the same picture as radio news bulletins would have me believe.

A random youtuber has been making day by day maps of territorial changes. Another random Youtuber clipped them together into one video and changed the music. More informative than what I've been listening to on the radio whilst at work. There's a Kesselring (ww2 German term for Soviet encircled troops in the early days of Barbarossa and what happens within, Paulus's 7th Army were famously caught in one towards the end of the Battle of Stalingrad) forming to the north east of Kiev. UA forces within are in for a rough night.

Imo energy independence should be a strategic imperative for any nation.

Just waiting to go to work in 15 minutes watching a livestream of cams. Mfw I've spent 15 minutes watching headlights role along the bottom right camera and there's still no end in sight to Putins column. There may not be much of a Ukriane government to negotiate a ceasefire with if Ruskies go in hard tonight.
