Sir Bags indeed. Honestly feeling quite excited sitting here reading this BB after a very busy work shift. The head chef got an ozzie work visa come through so will be leaving by winter, gaffer got me to put through my first ever food order today. I think he's hoping I'll take a 48 hour salaried head chef role for 23k a year.
Nahhhhhh. I dunno about buying out Greene King Shouston with what I've got and going on but feeling giddy at a realistic 10p target and the amount of shares I have. I need to move out come April, long overdue, and carrying a little debt from lockdown days but between UFO, EUA and now BOIL; I have a feeling I'll have some kind of personal liquidity event that smoothes out all my short term zero hour problems, sooner rather than later.
Just gotta get that timing right. UFOs rise to 3p last year was a harsh lesson in taking profits along the way given I didn't. Watched 7k paper profit just whither away and needless to say I wouldn't be in the situation I am now if I'd even banked 50% of that when I knew there was no good reason for it to be going over 3p intraday.
Despite that it certainly feels like I've done something right with my investing when on one of the worst days for the markets since the covid meltdown in 2020 I'm still excited as well as in a top performer on the day.
All because many years ago my stepdad, who was a plant operator making various things like nitroglycerine on the Wilton Site (formerly ICI), told me that if I ever started investing that I should find and invest in a natural gas focused company. Well I found BOIL. I've tried to get him to invest in BOIL as well as a couple others but he got burned on SXX and just won't have any of it. Well at the very least I can pay him back by finally moving out before he retires. Well, retires for about the 3rd time lol.
Forgive the rambling. I'm just a little more than cautiously optimistic now :)
GLA and all the very best.
