Found this channel at the start of the year, aptly named. Largely bias free objective market roundup. Well worth following imo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkwqpJXy0x8 "Markets Roar! Sanctions Are Launched & WAR WAGES ON." He talks about how sanctions have been geared to hurt Russians whilst minimising effects on Western interests. If Belgium gold cos can get a sanctiopn carve out so as to continue drawing Russian money for their wares then I am sure strategically required metals for a clean energy transition should be in the same situation. GLA, off to work.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Q7FuPINDjA Another Kiev livestream. Sporadic gunfire can be heard in distance with explosions. I have not heard that the other 2 nights. Fighting is getting closer to Kiev center it would appear.
You really should read up on the past 10 years in that area of the world toon. Did you know British and Canadian officers have helped train the Azoz battalion? That Israel has provided arms? Crazy situation when Israel if funding an actual neo nazi paramilitary which was recognised by Ukraine and incorporated in the National Guard ergo legitimised. No side is free of sin but lets agree no more brother wars. This is like Scotland and England decided to take up arms against one another again because some wizend coffin dodgers want to use their lives as pawns on a grand chessboard.
Just to add some context to that image in the tweet. That apartment bloc in the background was hit by the falling debris from the plane shot down over Kyiv early hours this morning. Speculation on both sides that it was either a Mig on the Ukrainian side or a Su57 on the Russian side. If the Russian side that was either paratroopers or attempt to land supplies somewhere. If Ukraine side possibly lost one of their few experianced fighter pilots. No matter what I imagine some of the people in that apartment bloc were harmed and or killed.
So forgetting the SP for a moment, let's get a ceasefire going to stop anymore things like that eh o.0

Agreed, anyone here who does not know what is being referanced should absolutely look into it. Pd was, according to some, the first metal commodity to break free of the paper ETF/CFD options that people like JPMorgans metals desk use to maniuplate commodity prices. Pd broke out in 2019 and I owe a lot of my understanding to starting with Willem and Pd price breakout.

Any other time we'd all be exstatic about SSS speed. However it feels a bit like that scene out of the fourth Alien movie; where the blond haired female space pirate has a chest burster burst out of her and she looks down and says. "Not like this, not like this..." Here's a livestream comprised of 7 different cameras, 4 in Kyiv and 3 others elsewhere like Luhansk and Kharkov. There was a person talking on it when I went to bed at 9am in the morning (naughty Ohmni cos thats 2 days running lol) but nothing for the last hour. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ezyue6ZiIj8 Interestingly earlier on one of the cameras was a CNN livestream cam and the dude operating it did not realise the mic was on so you could hear CNN hot talk ie internal talk viewers are not meant to hear. GLA.

Hi Normbeef, in hindsight I should have at least traded 10% of EUA along the way but hey, hindsight investing anit a thing. One of these days I'll make a decent payday investing that gives me some flexability, one of these days lol.

Not sold a share yet Tenatry. I had hoped prior to all this Ukraine/Russia stuff that EUA would get back to 26.5p buyin price and I could sell the trading account now I have almost the same amount of shares in ISA form. But alas, Putin said nyet to my plans. Chort! (russian word for damn but used like you just stepped in something nasty) So now I have even more shares in ISA than I do tradin lol. I personally think the strategic need for ESG sourced minerals will keep EUA in the game be it Western or Eastern buyers and that it will be the energy sector of Russian exports that will be the focus of sanctions along with some top level people within Russia. But hey, I've been wrong about plenty in the past.
Needless to say I am glad to already have a UFO position built up.
