Poor comparison. One man's power tripping ego (Kwon) brought Luna to it's knees by making it a target which made it go the way of all so called stable coins. I like blockchain tech but yikes some of the spin off stuff is basically techno-ponzi schemes.
Also where's the rug pull here Calamari?
I've never invested in crypto but understand it more than most who have lol, be interesting to see what Dimitry had in mind with Lybrion, physically backed tokens with PGMs and that RNS which talked about getting approval for permanent underground storage facilities. That dot joining there has always excited and intrigued me.
HfB is not the messiah, he's a very well researched investor!
Tell you what, I could do with some of that Chudditch stuff right now. Moved out finally Friday gone and without gas or leccy since cos previous tenant got it cut off. Phone died mid conversation with EDF on Friday and work all day Saturday abd Sunday.
Hopefully with a fully charged phone and powerbank via work I can get that problem sorted today. Be nice to actually plug my fridge and freezer in let alone get my PC up and running again lol.
GLA. Our time will come when Baron boil'th over.
Some may recall that I finally moved out at the tender age of 34 last Friday. Previous occupant got the gas and leccy cut off and my phone died mid conversation with EDF trying to get it sorted on Friday. I was then at work all day Saturday and Sunday.
Unlike most people my age and younger though I just shrugged my shoulders, broke the camping stove out and some tomato soup along with rechargable lights.
Naturally I've being using power at work to charge my phone but being at work all day saturday and Sunday meant I did not do my usual weekend DYOR so no idea what's going on the world let alone here. So yeah, imagine my surprise when I saw an EUA dot when I blearily looked at 8 am sharp. Went straight back to bed mind cos lord knows it'a being a long previous week.
So, temp suspension eh. At first I thought oh bloomin eck but then I rememebered everything EUA has communicated to date. Ergo I have to agree with sentiment that news around a liquidity event will be forthcoming.
If this concludes "shortly" I'll be pretty overmoon given I can move straight on out of what is a nice property (3 bedroom, really spacious kitchen and living room, no shower tho...) but in a rough as old boots neighbourhood. My 1100 quid mountainbike is already drawing jealous eyes....and with my 2 ft Viking locks it's only a matter of time until I run foul of the locals in some way.
Currently I can just about afford to do what I'm doing. Hopefully through EUA we can all get some serious (perspective corralted) liquidity injected into our lives.
GLA. Wish me luck for getting my gas and electric sorted today. 3 days without has been an enjoyable novelty but I'd like to plug my fridge/freezer in today and go shopping on my day off.
Happy birthday Pete (just in time lol).
Ian, one of the worst things pains I ever experienced with a tooth abscess, started off as a small lump in my jaw. Swelled to size of a marble within days suddenly, 111 was useless and when I got through the weekend to be seen by private emergency dentist they were aghast that 111 had not admitted me to hospital, they had never drained so much pus from an abscess before and I was hours away from it bursting and possibly killing me via septic shock.
I went into shock quite badly once they had drained most of it. Kinda embarrassing when you are in a room of young female dentists and your crying and shaking like a leaf lol.
So I'm glad your abscess has not caused you any pain but yikes, upon reading your account I glad mine was a hard and fast kind of dealio. Best of luck fella and a message for the wider board. Get your DYOR on for latest casual links between prevalence of plaque and heart disease. Most fatal blockages in hearts are comprised of plaque bacteria and platelets.
GLA, brush yo teeth :P
Aw come now, needs must and all that fella. I've not being shy about my crumby finances and bad life choices in my time here :) It's being a long time, not since I left counselling only to have a work accident 6 months later that shafted my spine somewhat, that I could say I feel confident about my future.
And that wee sale helped make my first month of moving out have some theoretical capitol surplus. Translation. All bills covered and I can afford a parmo as well as some hooch to go with it now XD Up the boro tehe.
GLA. Here's to more of today tomorrow, cheap tesco cider all round.
Well I did end up selling another 200 quids worth (wel,, 195 for 2500 shares), if only so I have a spare hundred as opposed to down 100, so it's typical that I could have timed it better. Should've waited for just before work lol, at least I did not miss any kind of rise like last week. Still holding more in ISA than I ever did trading, just a pretty large average difference is all lol.
Well, time for work. GLA.
Kira, this may sound pedantic/petty and even hypocritical on my part but ye gods that OP needs some paragraphing. It may be why some thought you hysterical in your posting. Also something about burning the candle at both ends?
Good luck with the paper.
Sounds lile someone is jelly...
Good going Davide. Must confess to being a lil jel of that holding lol. Paid on Friday, paid bond and rent yesterday. 890 quid in a day is balla for me but no money to invest with now :( may even have to sell another couple hundred quids worth this month to keep my head above water. That or stop drinking...
Non alcoholic council pop all round XD

Alright, I'll hold my hands up. I didn't know any of this cos all I did was listen to someone on YouTube who said some stuff I could cross reference with media, Ukie and Ruskie statements these past few weeks.
THe Snake Island stuff is interesting as well given speculation over that and potential impact on perceptions of May 9th Victory day. So my thanks for sharing this information about Alexander and I would apologise for sharing but meh. I wouldn't have learnt anything so I'm not sorry. GUess that's the logic of nutters though :)
Y'all got any dirt on the author of https://thedreizinreport.com/
GLA.
Well touche as I didn't look that far back tbh. Is he still presently employed by RT? Regardless it still seems like an ad hom response to information presented. If your argument is dude did wrong in past so I will discount what he says now then again, fair enough. Enjoy your night etc cos amma keep on listening to himself, Patrick Lancaster, Maximillian Clark, The Duran and the author of this right here.
https://thedreizinreport.com/2022/05/05/the-script-is-flipped/
Huh, sounds kind of ad hom as you're attacking the person and not what they are saying but if a legal disbarring over questionable conduct is enough for you fair enough.
How about the other link? Again agree or disagree with their reporting I've found it valuable for gauging just whose propaganda is just that these past few weeks.
I appreciate the skepticism however from what I can discern. Your assertion is erroneous. Alexander works with The Duran and the author of this site. https://thedreizinreport.com/ No RT involvement.
As for what youtube places in the recommended bar, a poor metric to determine a persons fallibility regarding their ability to report. The rec bar is algo driven so suffers from subjective reporting/confirmation bias.
Eg the recommend bar on that same video for me has but one video I could describe as anti west and it talks about the EU army and veto right for countries to be removed in a bad light. Seems fair to me. The rest is gaming, music or documentaries. Anecdotal of course.
Great, more inflation. DId you know that if one were to use the older methods of inflation calculation you would find we are already well into double digit inflation? I sure picked a great time to be moving out lol.
However I agree. Demand combined with supply and natural scarcity for PGMs makes them something that simply cannot be kicked about like a political football game of sanctions. Another reason I am happy to have accumulated in EUA after a long time of sitting on the single investment from Oct 2019.

In amongst the debating on this BB have some dry but highly informative analysis from Alexander Mercouris regarding Ukraine/Russia conflict of the past couple days. Agree or disagree the fellow is largely emotion free in his analysis so I personally have valued what he has to say for keeping balance in reporting around the so called special military operation for some weeks now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nK2KRKjOqss covers the Snake Island action that would appear to have being a Ukrainian route. Seems to have being a rough day in the Donbass either way. Also anyone still thinking Makarov had any kind of incident, it was pictured in Sevastopol port the next day A-okay.

Definitively wrong.
"TASS: The EU will temporarily increase gas purchases from the Russian Federation through countries ready to pay in rubles to compensate for the cessation of supplies to Poland and Bulgaria" And that is not even recent anymore.
This burger flipper could not agree more Belgrano. I've spent 3 years shaping a PF that is all about gold, silver, PGMs, natural gas, iron ore. Commodities basically as I see double digit inflation and recessions looming but also a clean energy transition still to come online during that.
I'm moving out in a weeks time so no more investing games for me but my 217 POLY shares, that I made sure to grab when I still had some monthly capitol, are being held firmly for future divis along with some other positions of course.
Heck if EUA get's done and dusted anytime soon I'll happily add to my position here but as is.
Looking forward to my 70 quid come September, maybe even x2 due to delayed divi. Pocket change to most but gotta start somewhere and it'll be my 1st divi if I anit had a special divi elsewhere by then.
Also to add to Belgrano's anecdotal point. I work in a pub kitchen, same one for almost 9 years now (welp). Never in that time have I known so many things be unavailable to order in. Basic stuff like cooking oil, tomatoes, onions, various types of chicken for the menu. The items vary week by week that can't be ordered but as I said. Never known so many supply issues, not even when we very 1st came out of Lockdown.
Then there's the issues of expanding lockdowns in China which will affect international shipping as well as supply of many basic goods.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipoqKAim8_o
There's an unprecedented in recent times supply chain disruption incoming imo. On top of everything else. However if you are exposed to things like precious metals/commodities via companies like Poly I reckon you'll have an easier time than those who are not in the current world we find ourselves in.

Lmao! My mate has a Land Rover Defender ex army model with that Zombie Outbreak Response Team emblem, it's smaller to his credit but yeah. Dude has a primary bug out bag and secondary bug out bags. IE one at home that is bigger/more dedicated to long term survival and one that is SHTF need to GTFOH ASAP I can worry about longterm later. He travels with secondary in the car most occasions.
A proper British prepper. Man, I need to go pigeon shooting with him again, thanks to lockdowns and being busy with work it's being a canny few year since we connected via shotties. And yes, the last time I did so all pigeons bagged were fully butchered and utilised short of making a new pillow. Offal for dogs, breasts for the plate. Local farmer helped out via reduced crop loss to pigeons. Inb4 trophy hunting yer ebil so and so etc etc.
Sorry for that waffle but this post made me realise I need to reconnect with a school era friend. It's being a while and that van right there looks like the kind of thing he'd roll with.
