A music video high (lol) lighting the disparity between stoner culture and drink culture.
I'd love to see some hard data to back some of those claims. My own anecdotal evidence does not negate the trend ;) As I say to my mam who worked many decades in NHS psychology, from community to forensic, maybe just maybe you are being exposed to a demographic that is on the extreme of the spectrum and it has biased you against the statistical truth of a simple plant with mild psychoactive compounds when not overly refined (oils N ****, no thanks for me). It's benign for the vast majority of adults. Mucho taxes to be raised as well.
Simply fact is, most stoners I know don't run around shanking people and they get about as irritable as the nest person who cannot fulfill a HABITUAL (emphasis, not shouting) ritual that allows for catharsis after their day of activities. Like a person denied their ritualistic after work pint/coffee/dog walk. Dysfunctional people however. Yeah, I've seen them do all kinds of messed up stuff on and off any kind of gear. So far as vices go, come at me with this positively timber baron 19th century grade anti weed propaganda that smacks of the same rather odious comments made in the south of America regarding having to use buckshot to take down those stoned - insert unsavory racially charged epithet here -... (and breath) when you have outlawed alcohol.
#endthewarondrugs and enjoy the taxes to spend on social services to mob up the eejits who can't recognize something that is not working for them. I know plenty of people who simply should not drink but boy oh boy do they still drink on the staff nights out. Society smiles upon it as well.
I've seen some things man. Weed has been the generator of the least of them. Alcohol, followed by coke, followed by ket. And then theres the so called legal highs. Just regulate the real deal and outlaw derivatives FFS. But anyway.
So yeah. Forgive me if I take a little offense at the demonsisation of a PLANT (emphasis again, give us italics LSE plz...) and those who chose to imbibe and continue to be perfectly functional adults. Of which, despite claims by some medically minded people, represent the overwhelming majority of cannabis users. If there was any credence to this talk of correlation between knifings and weed use then pray tell why I anit seeing that across the pond wherein regulation and decriminalization has occurred for the most part? Not with knives, not with guns, not with traffic accidents. I say again. 19th century baron grade anti weed propaganda.
Shanking people cos of weed. Honestly. Don't mention underlying genetic dispositions, broken families or plain old terrible life choices will ya lol.
