I'll be flipping burgers for beer garden going punters I reckon. I've worked pretty much every bank holiday for about 14 years, getting sick of them adding more lol.

1st ISA purchase circa 27.9p. I have since done 3 x couple/few hundred quid buys and 3 x 200 quid sell and rebuys which has left me with a new average of 13.4p and over 50% more shares in ISA form than I ever had in trading which was 10% derisked.

Looks like I'll be moving out in the next week or 2 so no more investing what I can per month on my burger flipping wages. Gutted. So many opportunities and things I sold out of to accumulate here moving along without me. (Looking at you EML and SAR). Ce la vie. Glad I have a commodity focused PF still, feel better off than most in my position. More so with the ever increasing likelihood of recessions, double digit inflation,cost of living woes, ... wars. It's a merry old world anit it 0.o

Gazprombank given waivers for oil and gas buy/sell contracts. We can change our sources of oil and gas, we can reduce our dependence. But can we source massive amounts of PGMs for a clean energy transition from South Africa, Munni Munni in Oz and a couple other small hotspots (follow the ultramafic flow VMS deposits) around the world? Highly questionable.
My point. The world needs what is held in Eurasian assets. Over to you BOD :)

Hello ladies and gentlemen, non holder who would like to hold but alas. Burger flipping for a living affords only so much capitol to play with per month. I just thought that POG holders would find it noteworthy that the UK has quietly allowed wavers for certain buying and selling within Gazprombank.
It relates to energy, chiefly oil and gas and only for a month but still. Shows even during the current geopolitical issues that there is pragmatism to be found. Also sharing because it seems not many seem to know about this. Heard nowt on the work radio news about it however seems legit.

Only for 1 month but this caught me off guard, nothing about this on the work radio news segments. This is more strategic energy related than commodity but hey. This shows even during war and the rhetoric of all sides that there is pragmatism to be found. I believe a Dutch gold company sought and received an exemption carve out so they could sell their wares to Russians still. My point is a lot of noise is generated by sanctions but the reality is the cogs of commerce continue to turn.
Myself if not for being a wage cager on the cusp of finally moving out, I'd be buying the bejesus out of POLY, EUA, POG, Evrav pre suspension, AMC. Basically all of the Russian exposed stocks that have had their wind stolen by geopolitical machinations. As is I'll be grateful for what I have gotten hitherto and simply await recovery be it through raw fundamentals, wider apathy re Ukraine, ceasefire, peace, victory. Whatever. I'm a patient soul.
