Realist, there's probably a lot more than just me on here that have emailed ukog of late demanding that SS came out of hiding. I take full credit for forcing him out. Lol. In saying that my trust in SS still isn't where it should be but if the actual progress is 80% of his stated timelines we'll be ok.
Fat fingers. Close to 20,000 barrels of oil from approx 250 ft of perfs. Im waiting for Portland cpr, Kim cpr and production from 2 wells, each more than several thousand feet in length. If the sp is in the doldrums after that then I'll cash in at a loss but not before.
Pump has been on KL4 from day dot so much too early for pressure drop off. Unlikely that it is still in clean up mode after this long? Pump has been on/off a time or two. Gas lock? Most likely explanation imo is that they are in EWT mode and may well flow naturally at some point but not necessarily at the beginning. No one has tested the Kim over a prolonged period yet so it's anybody's guess as to how the experts are going about it.
Hard to call when the rns will drop. KL4 definitely being tested differently to KL3. There's a strong chance that they have altered their test strategy based on KL3 learnings. Cant rule out issues with KL4 but we're seeing 2 tankers most days and there hasn't been that much intervention on the well head, nothing like that seen at BB.
Degsy what you say about ukog dilution is factual and ukog may need to print more shares down the line. But I'm sure you won't let that stop you popping up to ramp ukog when it is getting dressed up for production. More faces than the town clock.
Rx, I was just having a rant. All angs holders are justifiably excited at the prospect of prolonged oil sales from Brockham. Initial flow results will grab the headlines, but guidance as to stable production flow rates going forward is far more important. people can spout all they want about pipes, mud and permissions, but if Brockham drops off rapidly it will be bad news for both ukog and angs. Same applies if forward guidance from HH is poor.
This board is a hard read for holders like me who have both angs and ukog. It's beyond me why holders of angs feel the need to compare their share against ukog. Getting a few ukog holders to move some funds in here won't give the rise that we all hope for. 200m of perfs roughly 50/50 of Kim and shale should flow very well but it's the flow rates one, two, six months into the extended test permissions is what will pay the bills and ukog haven't really divulged much in terms of long term flow guidance yet. The Kim is still holding onto a lot of its secrets.
YA sold their converted shares before they entered the market. They were clearly able to get 10's of millions of shares in advance from somewhere. It was laughable, their last sale always had an odd number that exactly matched up to the number of converted shares. So if YA can get a hold of shares in this way, there's nothing stopping other organisations doing the same.
I'm sure a few others like me are trying to work out where we are on KL4. Our own timelines have been well behind actual progress all during HH. If we're pumping pure oil the 2 tankers per day isn't shabby at all. Or we're still cleaning up and 2 tankers is super. Hard watching the sp drop away but the oil is clearly present. We're not going to maintain stellar flow rates from 80 ft of perfs. People should get their head round that and put the 900bpd spurt to one side. GL.
Markthespark, spot on. SS needs to manage expectations better. Although factually correct, continually quoting 900bpd gets ingrained. Very few take heed of the 'short duration test' verbiage that comes straight after the number.
Plenty of sly foxes about. News of sorts this week.. surely? Have to admit I'm a little nervous on KL4. Would have expected natural flow by now if KL3 is anything to go by. Pump change due to defective pump or bigger one? I suppose that there is nothing to stop hhdl from starting with pump and taking it off nearer the end but if SS is delaying more bad news then his reputation will be beyond repair. Expect plenty of troll action until news comes. GL.
I'm like a moth drawn to the light. I see multiple wells across multiple sites, funded by sales from existing wells. All depends on getting the oil out in commercial volumes. We'll know that soon(ish). I've a lot in here but don't need it out at any time, so I wait.
