Clarry, without trying to make a personal attack, the main bull that I smell is that of uninvested posters clogging up the board. Why? What are the motives? Just like to stir the pot or saving our souls ?
You either think SS is milking it and doesn't believe in the Weald or you don't. clear to see that the uninvested are playing this for all that they can, countless posts on a board they are not invested in. sad.
Call me a cynic but I think Vonk put yesterday's tanker out the gate to try and fill some time between official updates. With the storage on site there would have been no need to draw down due to capacity issues. News soon. I expect it to be good.
The market will see through a half baked rns like a net curtain. It would do more damage to the sp than no news could. I understand that the EWT of the Kimmeridge is a complicated process, potentially made even more complicated by the prospect of KL3 and 4 being connected. SP erosion is hard to watch but this is the market that we are in.
The market doesn't trust SS after his commentary and actions during BB. The market doesn't believe in the Kim yet... BB didn't flow and KL3 summary didn't contain any forward guidance on future flow rates. The next ops rns has the potential to put all of the above to bed once and for all.... Oil seen per well, recoverable %, future flow rates. Get the rns right ffs SS!! I'll even help you compose it.
If i was SS and I ramped the she-ite out of BB ( pouring oil, new flagship, 1500 ft of oil) only to come up dry, I'd be dam sure not to repeat the hype until I was sure. That said, a factual ops update, without the bravado wouldn't go amiss. That said again, why bother if all it does is cause. Short term spike. I wait. GL.
SS has inferred several times that 3 and 4 could be connected. Pressure differential cannot be transmitted through solid rock, rather by fluid filled fractures. It makes sense that if 3 and 4 are naturally fractured from eons of tectonic activity, then why not the shales as well? I'm betting that this makes the calculation of oil seen from the Kim and the oil seen from the shales a very complexed task requiring a protracted set of flow tests and pressure builds to be undertaken. I'm happy to leave things to global experts. GL.
Penguins I did notice the drill layout only going through KL3 and for sure they are testing KL4 differently to KL3, both in terms of communication and also phases( no free flow period.... yet, pump on off). I'm wondering if they are toggling between 3 and 4? Does this explain the numerous times that the pump has been off/switched? So will we get a cpr for the oil in 3 and 4 plus some extra recoverable from fractures in shales?
Portland cpr, Kim cpr, Continued flow from HH1, HH2 drill and EWT, HH1z drill and flow test. Planning application for full time production, full time production from 2 long horizontal wells. 2019 activities funded. So much potential. I don't ramp. These are planned milestones and the reason why I hold. GL.
Good to see tankers rolling but it still leaves us uneducated pi's trying to match up tanker count vs on site activity. I'm assuming KL4 test is still ongoing for 2 reasons. 1) SS would rns its completion and 2) I'd expect more than 1-2 tankers per day for the co-mingled run.
Angs and ukog have lots in common. Both have boards that haven't covered themselves in glory this past year or so, both on the cusp of unlocking oil from the Weald. Too many peeps trying to score points for their share by highlighting issues with the other. Sad really. Be sure your own doorstep is clean before picking fault in others. Good luck to all in 2019. It could be great.
