Bobrad, plus/ minus a week or so, current permissions expire mid Dec. No one knows for sure when the starter gun was fired. KL3 should be nearing completion soon, then onto KL4. To my knowledge, no one has ever completed extensive flow testing of the Kimmeridge before so test plans and set ups may be changed based on what they see. More data means a more accurate assessment. GL.
Cockernhoe, SS has mentioned in several rns's that he will update after each test. He said in 10th Oct that he would update after a number of things were completed. Tests were also quoted as being 30-40 days for each. KL3 started to flow on 8th Oct, 24 days ago. We need to be patient. News will come soon.
If you are not happy then sell up, put your money somewhere else. we had a technical update 16 working days ago and are testing a formation that has not been tested before. What more do some folk want.... pictures of oil pouring with half full tanks in the background?
Ukog vs angs debate is tiresome. Angs guys regularly comparing ukog mc and shares in issue. This has no relevance to angs, it think folk are trying to use it as a tool to justify their share. Very rampity over there, bit like ukog board last summer. Angs will most likely rise further ahead of Brockham, KL3 news due any time here. Angs imminent 18month permission to flow and sell oil very attractive, they are further along the curve than ukog. But ukog's potential curve is much bigger. Hold both and transfer between them when the timing is right.
Ibug , appreciate your reply and that from Alan. I'm trying not to clog the board and cause friction so I'll just have to wait and see how long things take. As you say, nothing is certain nor straightforward in this business. GL.
Krull, I hope for the sake of my investment and that of others in here that it's not a duster. Quite a few have held thru the 400 barrel Lidsey ramp, and same for ukog with BB. Things can and do go wrong. It's always difficult to tell the rampers apart from genuine holders that have been thru the ringer and now see light at the end of the tunnel, from Degsy that is. GL.
Chicken, facts I can take. But you're just throwing out numbers. I'm not for one minute saying that getting PP, field approval etc is easy, but there are no rules with respect to timescales involved. More a case as how best and quickly to navigate all the red tape with the correct information.
Jimb2, you are correct with the production target dates quoted. In reality though things may slip. Examples of this are in last years rns's wrt timelines for HH. BB slowed up HH, funding ( allegedly) held up the OGA approvals. Things just happen in this business.
Good morning whanonewsyet, it is difficult to ignore the trolls, especially when it gets personal. I've succumbed myself the odd time. Anyways, KL3 will have been flowing for 3 weeks by tomorrow and further updates were promised, but I'm wondering as to the reason for the 2 well interventions.
Seadoc, if you are referring to the sums that you've posted numerous times, valuing ukog on revenues from the EWT, then yes, I read, I shook my head, and I didn't read their subsequent appearances on the board. But good luck with your strategy. You've been open about it which is to your credit.
