Stated during the Manchester Hustings that she would ensure “We are making the most of the resources from the North Sea.”
She is also very keen on fracking to tap the massive reservoirs of natural gas.
Is fracking something HBR could undertake?
This looks promising “Offshore wind can deliver 25% higher unit operating cash margins in comparison to new field oil and gas projects, according to a new metric and analysis developed by Wood Mackenzie.”
Having just reread the Annual Financial Report from March it states Phoenix “intends to pay a dividend that is sustainable and grows over time.”
Hopefully tomorrow’s update results in an increase in the already generous divi.

With 5 years or so of work left I mainly invest in FTSE100 divi payers as a way of generating another income stream. Nothing too clever as once bought I just “top up” on big red down days.
Totally agree with the Rosneft thoughts and companies in the energy sector are in a prime spot at the moment. Just need to dodge the silly calls on extra taxation.
