I’m glad HBR is moving into the FTSE 100 but my only concern is the potential to yo-yo between the 100 and 250.
Will this cause funds/institutions to buy and sell in order to comply with holding blue chips companies?

The Telegraph are bullish on the prospect that Liz will give the green light on an increase in the extraction of NS natural gas.

Always difficult to predict how the markets read these payroll figures.
You would think that adding more jobs would be viewed as a positive but these days it’s viewed as an inflationary pressure.

A short consolidation period is due and I’ve put a speculative buy order in for 450p…may as well take advantage of traders taking their 10-20% profit and nervous holders.

The main event is the Jackson Hole meet tomorrow but the DOW finished strongly and ended up 0.98%
Long weekend and tomorrow being Friday will also come into play but I expect some HBR write ups in the weekend prints and therefore momentum to be carried forward there after.
Besides, outside of O&G where else would you park your cash?
