There are many points you make partridge that highlight the risks but just for balance it could also be pointed out that under JP at SOU the sp went from 4p to £1..admittedly and back again !!

Lol or maybe it was the other way round and the Slovenians knew they could fool AST and lure them into investing 50 million in infrastructure tagging them along in the knowledge that they would not grant them the permits to stimulate wells..it did work !!

Crude as far as I was aware the exclusivity period did not end until midnight yesterday and if that were the case then SOU were never going to RNS on the day..I also think it was for the potential purchaser to do due diligence and possibly get financing in place and not necessarily sign the deal but be in a position that they intend to proceed if that is the case or say no

I agree although Li is forecast to start picking up this year but that is a waiting game..coupled with the fact another of our resources the iron ore is on the back burner probably is stifling interest from pis and with so many shares tightly held the sp remains subdued..however with a groundbreaking deal it is easy to see how the sp would fly because the company valuation is very modest and with relatively small amount of shares in circulation

Yes I believe so as well swest ..have added a few down at this level but am prepared to wait now to see where we are at financing wise for the longer term before getting to my target so if I have to pay more after any deal is announced so be it but think it will be worth it for the information received

I think Morocco is open for business as far as Tendrara is concerned but it is understandable that if you are buying into a ready to go project you would want all the paperwork in place first..also I am sure there must have been some conditions attached to the purchasing company for them to proceed although nothing binding I know but due diligence carried out on behalf of SOU probably by Rothschild to check authenticity..anyway let us hope for some positive news from here..written off in my mind so a deal going forward is a bonus

Is it not the case that the date tomorrow was not just the proposed deal of SOU disposing of partial asset but it was running in tandem with the EIA process plus the gas pipeline rights of passage and also the GSA negotiations..one would have thought that if a private company were to commit the kind of funds we are talking about they would want all the above signed and ready to go before they commit themselves

When I first heard about the IPO I did a little research ..it was originally intended to float earlier but now March is anticipated but the articles and comments that I read seemed to point to other infrastructure projects to attract and increase investment in Ghana but for non base resource..however I may have got the wrong end of the stick and maybe mistaken

I agree completely bentnose why would we want to struggle to raise cash as in the last instance when we have an asset just idling when we could do so much with the war chest ..i thought VM once said it was all to do with the low price of iron ore and that they would wait until it got back to nearer $100 ton before making decisions ..well back to $80 ish and presumably will stay on the back burner and most likely costing us to keep on care and maintenance..I would only be too happy for Assore to take it off our hands..the iron ore must have been the attraction in the first place as that was all we had and the dive in the price necessitated the need to diversify

Just a bit of perspective mike ..Assore ,DGR Sumitomo and VM subscribed for about 10 million between them at IPO and a further 5 million when they raised at 35p..the original intention as we all know was to explore for iron ore so to put all that on the back burner and come up with the lithium and gold acreage on relatively small amounts of money is some feat..however it has to be said that I would have thought that consideration would have been given to each of their costs for overall investment including what they invested in the first place

To be fair the first raise was at 10p when IRR was first floated so the bigger shareholders have not got such a high average

God knows but you can be sure that Del boys mate will be along soon enough to rub it in !
