Fwiw I think NM knows exactly what he is doing and has been in this position on a few occasions ..whilst in all honesty he would not want the sp to dip too low as that really could tempt an early takeover battle and I do not think he wants that at the moment..Cornerstone are being squeezed and every time one of the majors takes another chunk their percentage holding goes down and their liability goes up..if a white knight does not turn up for cornerstone and lets face it it would be a bit of an open cheque book needed as the costs to be covered are unknown in addition to buying the stake they may have to swallow solgs offer which then puts NM in a much more favorable position..meanwhile until further news lets hope it does not dip too much..ps if there was any bit of good news announce it on friday hopefully with a tory majority ..if anything else we might as well pack all this investing lark in lol

It will be interesting to see how it all pans out but with Ghana offering attractive tax breaks for car manufacturers it is turning itself into a mecca for them setting up plants here there and everywhere..VW is expecting to deliver its first car Q1 2020 , Toyota and Suzuki in August and Nissan before 2020 ends and also a point to note that Sumitomo have had a joint venture with Nissan although that might be a hedge for the lithium market as they recycle battery components..demand has been forecast to slowly increase through 2020 just like copper is..the commodity market is not a comfortable place to be with companies particularly small ones struggling to raise finance but hopefully IRR will in time demonstrate it has a company maker on its hands with a jorc statement

I agree with what you say Bozi and would also add that as was the case with solgold in the earlier stages of its development even though they had discovery hole 5 and more on top it was not until they had substantial funding sorted and not money to tide them over as in the case of IRR

Am afraid that is what happens when there is generally not a great turnover in the shares of a company quite often where there is not a large free float as in the case of IRR where the shares are tightly held..on the upside if you believe the company are on to something with their lithium and gold and obviously management do otherwise they would not chuck large amounts of cash at it then possibly a good time to grab a few but as it would appear that we may be waiting a few months yet on a jorc statement then it may drift a bit furthermor
