I have commented a few times before on why would anyone sell but small pis have very differing views on shares and the markets..now you and I would like to think that IRR are on the verge of moving into the next phase of their development with jorc announcements and hopefully some kind of deals with car manufacturers or others and the sp will react accordingly to reflect that enhanced position but some see a declining sp over many months and cash in to protect what they have left..we had a similar situation some while back when the sp had started dropping from 48p and went into the 30s and Crow sold his entire holding..that did not instill confidence albeit he sold to Sumo and then followed by NM selling ..the downward trend continued with the rights issue so you can understand that if you do not want to be in for the long haul it may be safer to take off the table..just for the record I had a little top up this am to replace some of the shares i sold when we jumped up 5p recently ..IRR made the announcement that it was only a meeting / presentation as the shares had got a bit ahead of themselves on that news with VW so it had to be tempered and the sp was always going to drop back a bit..but i think pieces of the jigsaw are falling into place

archieee ..I have not been paying too much attention to Solg for some while as not too much to get excited by at the mo but just wondered when have solgold borrowed in the past and who was the lender..just that I do not recall this and I have held shares since when they first went into Ecuador..incidently you seem to be a little confused as on the one hand you say that Solgold will have to borrow more cash to continue drilling and then all of a sudden there will be a placing ..

In the doldrums is where we have ended up..we would appear to be sitting on our hands for a while yet and I guess this must be the violence bit as Sound does not look sexy at the moment

When JP once said he could sell Sound any day of the week I wonder if there is any chance he could make it tomorrow as I am fed up with all this waiting now !!

mike.. I think it is what it is..it would appear from the positive results in the field that we have value but until some potential numbers are produced and endorsed we are in a state of limbo..personally I think we did suffer from spinning too many plates which seems to have been rectified just recently with the reporting from Ghana..do not want to bang on about the funding but the sp has been behaving as if it is expecting a call but it may be down to just drip drip selling..hopefully not Directors as I have said before NM and Crow sales did not help even though NM is still holding a large number and Crow sold to Sumo I believe..Obviously not VM as that would be a disaster

Just to add though regardless of the reason never a good sign if the Directors are selling stock !

Mike it was tongue in cheek re NM and SC..dont think Crowe has any since selling out at 35p..NM still invested

I think I may have said this before so apologies if rambling a bit but I do believe there are some similarities with Solgold in that not much credit was given in the early stages for what pis thought the company was onto..the evidence was beginning to unfold but worries over finance and the quality of the resources until someone else wanted a slice of the cake and that is what will probably make the market sit up and take notice but at the moment the downward trend is just having that perpetuating effect where it would appear that some lths are losing patience and salvaging what is left of their investment..however if you believe that IRR will come good with at least one of their prospects probably a good entry point will offer itself up soon if not now..what might get it kick started is the directors who sold out much higher bought those shares back now lol

No Mike do not think that is the case.. I think there is not much interest so mms drop the price to get some buys and I have just had a little top up so can confirm blue is buying price

From the heady sp of 48p the tide has shown no signs of turning..surely we are in a better place of when we floated or is it that there is just so much more work to be done and so much more money to be spent..anyone think we are expediating Ghana before somebody else sticks their nose in so that we can establish some kind of value not that the sp senses any outside interest

Only the price is interesting though..the UT ls never that much higher than the highest price traded in the day..I am not saying it means anything tho it is slightly interesting lol

To be fair I think there are a number of shareholders that have not only lost their nerve but are genuinely fed up with everything Sound

like an announcement similar to Amerisur this am..last week they announced a formal sales process and today an offer and other parties interested..why do we have to be so secretive..

I did mention the possibility of that some time ago and cannot remember exactly why some on here did not think that feasible..but if the company was built around the iron ore assets in the first place there must of been enough interest to support the venture and they must still retain some value ?

Do not think they were buys ..just a small margin paid to rollover or transfer but may be wrong but no reason to pay a much higher price when you do not have to
