You forgot to mention that NM has also been instrumental in having about 8 of his companies taken over bringing huge rewards for his shareholders..also many of his shareholders in Solg would have averaged down when the price was just over a penny and at todays 'lowly ' close still sitting on a 15 fold increase on those shares..also I think you will find the risks of investing in Ecuador with political uncertainty are flagged up in the auditors notes

Probably never a good idea to mislead the market even by just a little bit.. they were more than likely advised to cover themselves and VW .. I think the sp would have come back anyway on the lack of further news as it often does

The thing is bentnose it could be argued the reason for the drop from 48p are sellers getting rid of their shares including NM and SC not just for today

2 to 3 million AUD !

I know I am probably going to get slated for this as I do bang on about the finance but if I have got my figures roughly right we have been spending circa 1 million australian dollars a month since 30 june 2018 which notwithstanding the recent drilling agreement will leave us with roughly 2 to 3 AUD probably not enough to get us through much of Q1 so yes we need an update fairly soon..shoot me down now even though I hold !!

I assume given that you say JP is buying time to cream what he can from us you are still a shareholder in Sound and after all what you think about JP and his motives and the fact there is no deal to be had and you are still holding ..all very strange

or NM and SC buy back the shares they last sold and currently can get them at a good discount

Err they said they were going to market our asset which does not actually mean they are necessarily going to sell it depending on price in the main despite what most on here are hoping for

Err the trade that went through for 350 shares at 7.99p which comes to 3p shy of £28 which is what i presume all the fuss is about !

A bit ironic that in the past we had plenty of sharp sp movements in the main on the way down and no price monitoring then and now on the face of it we have a £28 deal above the ask and the sp is monitored..I really would like to think there was something positive in it but very much doubt it

After all this time and disappointment for me a bad deal will be better than no deal with the proviso that it is better than the current sp..50p would be fantastic 25p not so but as I say to end the misery and move on would be acceptable

Just my thoughts for what it is worth..it is clear that Cascabel is seen as being of great importance to the financial well being of Ecuador even being noted by the IMF when considering offering the country bail out funds..so my feeling is that the hierarchy in Ecuador will want to fast track the development of the project and that will require the input of a major/majors and not something that Solg can do on its own..I am of the firm belief that NM will want to reap the rewards of Cascabel and then plough on with the other tenements which he can cherry pick..so much of the workforce infrastructure has been developed over the last few years and with the funds from any sale of Cascabel can rinse and repeat with the business model that has proved so successful thus far..IMO

I certainly do think the locals to Cascabel appreciate the fact that Solg employ at least 500 at this stage in the cycle with many more to be employed in the event of a mine being built

Probably the same person given the timing and maybe just got bored waiting for something to happen..been in a very long downtrend now and for the time being showing no signs of a sustained rise..we all know that could change with a deal but perhaps the seller does not want to wait any longer

Actually they did comment before on the mining referendum business and as it happens do not think it would have gone amiss to state if employees were safe either at home or work ..clearly if movement is restricted it has a direct affect..just my opinion but some commentary good or bad should be forthcoming

can only assume that the company were aware of the growing unrest as it is now clear this has been going on for a little while and hence have held back on any news as all would be negated by these more recent events..this is going to take some time for the dust to settle and bring back some calm
