Jez deal or no deal , consolidation or not one thing is for sure if you think Mr Seghiri will personally benefit from his options by actioning a consolidation to a price above his option price you really have lost the plot or is that just a Director perk lol that I have been unaware of ..if it applies to all shareholders I might just go and dust off some of those old share certificates , probably worth a fortune !! I am in Sou and Echo and want the best for both to try and salvage something from the wreckage of both decimated share prices so have no reason to deramp..however having read the rns first thing my thoughts were at least it is not bad news at this time and that is all it is at the moment..let them test and hopefully a good outcome but I am with Jones on this and be cautious

Totally agree that would really be my only criticism and in an interview VM almost said as much that there was no grand plan..obviously they know more than us and more than they are telling but if gold majors were having a sniff before the start of this drilling they probably are going to be a little more interested now bearing in mind they have only scratched a tiny portion of a very large area

Yes I saw that..I think a bit of very positive news creates that opportunity to trade on the day but sooner or later I do believe there will be a series of announcements and I would be fearful of missing out after being in so long

Lol SFO I do not think they have secured any convictions of note apart from a few bribery and corruption cases in 20 years so good luck with that ( I think there was some talk of it being disbanded ) particularly when you would struggle to come up with any evidence of misdemeanor let alone anything illegal

I know where you are coming from but when you know that a company is going to need more money and you are more a trader than long term holder it is easier to sell knowing there is a good chance you will be able to buy those shares back cheaper..if I had followed my own thoughts I would be considerably better off but hey ho..I know I have banged on about some director sells but would see NM or S C buying back their shares that they sold at much higher prices as a big positive

Not so sure I can agree with that bentnose as the selling has always been fairly gradual over a long period of time and unsurprisingly investors anticipating the cash calls who are relatively unattached emotionally to the share would sell to buy back cheaper..I think the recent buying in was in anticipation of some early news but maybe taken the profit in the short term and come back another day
