Well it was said many months ago that the majority of studies had already been completed..rather than argue the toss maybe they should have just got on and given them what they were asking for

Fwiw without a deal of some sort from a bigger player we were always going to need to raise..I know I have always been the doom and gloom merchant when it comes to the F word but at least they have raised a bigger chunk this time rather than the ' bridging finance ' last round and in very difficult times so that is a big plus tho negated by the slightly more disappointing price..I think it is mostly all in on Zaranou and try and prove up enough to make it enticing for someone with deeper pockets than us but not take too much of a bite out of our share..time will tell but feel the Lithium is on the back burner for the time being so focus on the gold

Hi mike I think you will find Geo have taken some cash as well as the shares as when the Rns announced the issue of equity it was in partial satisfaction of invoiced work so presumably the rest was in cash

They may have the same sp Smudger but if we had GGPs market cap we would have an sp circa 90p !!

Going lower ? Without any dynamic news probably will drift a bit more but we are not positioned too badly ..potentially game changing assets , no debt and a bit of cash with drilling over for the wet season.. I will be very interested to see the forward looking plan for our assets and do believe we are not far away from agreeing with a bigger player to assist with that and until we have that in an Rns we are probably going to stagnate/drift lower

IRR cap has dropped 30% ish since the outbreak of covid on relatively small number of sells..looking ahead and taking some of the comments from VM on board in the results where he stated and I know he has said this before but there is interest from bigger players in both the lithium and gold plays that we have and from that perspective given that we are entering the wet season now would be the time to be planning your next drilling strategy so for me that should now be the next move to announce who is going to partner us because surely it is going to happen sometime soon as we cannot do it on a shoestring forever more

Slight contradiction there breatheasy..on the one hand you are suggesting some will be disappointed by lack of dramatic jumps in short period of time and on the other those who are interested in the long term prospects can hope to see the sp go up 200 per cent in the next 8 weeks

That is all true partridge but with a bit of cash in the bank and consolidated sp there is a tad of hope as opposed to a dead duck in the water

Just for balance in the perspective stakes..despite all the trials and tribulations that exploring companies have to go through as far as financing , permitting potential drilling sites and personnel on your team NM ticks those boxes for getting them right and particularly financing in tough markets has always managed to come up with the goods..considering how much the sp has appreciated in recent years even with recent turmoils in commodities and now the virus there should not be too many complaints in the grand scheme of things

I think in the main you have hit the nail on the head swest..the market got ahead of itself in its valuation of the Li market..on the one hand the EV emerging markets demand for Li made them mark explorers up but did not really appreciate that there was an over supply at hand..however that imbalance does seem to be on the move and once again IRR could benefit from that..get a deal done in one way or another some money in the bank , something a bit more substantial than the few million bridging amounts that we have been raising and a bit more focus..Zaranou comes to mind and we could then be away

I think they could agree the deal Eric it was just that Sou were not convinced they had sufficient guarantee for the funds..there would be no point in having the upfront fee only to come up short for the infrastructure costs
