ahead of some big hitters that should of read

I recall VM stating how fortunate they were to secure the acquisition of some big hitters..I wonder if they thought Ironridge would be more pro active in forging ahead with activity whereas some of the bigger players can have the tendency to just add projects to their land banks and leave them for years altough having said that I thought there were always clauses added to contracts for certain minimal amounts of work to be undertaken in specified periods of time..anyway neither here or there now and it appears at the moment the boards excitement in obtaining the concession was justified

I do not know the intentions of our major shareholders but some of them elected not to subscribe for more shares in recent raises let alone wanting to put in the kind of money required to turn these resources into mines..finally it would appear we have secured enough capital for the next stage of Zaranou and then we need to be thinking big with a mining major..cannot see this being done in house

I agree with you swest but I believe exactly the same happened at Solg..they were caught between a rock and hard place..the Board knew they were onto something big but really did not have the funds to finance but somehow through raising monies in tough market conditions they kept a steady ship until they did a deal to bring someone on board with deeper pockets..hopefully further good grades at Zaranou will enhance their chances of doing such a deal

Should be just about completed on second phase drilling by now..not sure how long it will take for the results whether we get the lot in one go

I have listened to interview as well thanks Hodgefox..VM does talk up the assets well and obviously he continues to say they are adding value for shareholders which hopefully is the case , just not reflected in the sp ..unfortunately for many pis the benchmark for valuing the assets is the value of their holdings reflected by the sp which is displaying some disparity at the mo..personally I have always thought the market has never really rewarded IRR with a healthy valuation because of the number of widespread projects all requiring funding and as the commodities cycle went into downturn it was harder to raise and just when you thought it could not get any worse !! but the company has managed to raise a very reasonable amount considering and appear to want to concentrate in the main on Zaranou which will hopefully put us in the position of attracting major players like Solgold and Greatland have managed to achieve and Mariana before them

I agree the IRR story has been very infuriating and disappointing at the same time..having said that it did give investors the chance to make a healthy profit on its climb to 48p ish but as is often the case with many exploration companies the path to success is not that simple..however all is not lost by any means at IRR but I agree pi patience is beginning to run thin if not out..in the grand scheme of things compared to many others still not a massive amount of shares in issue..they now have a decent amount of cash to continue operations and it would appear to throw a big chunk at Zaranou..big show of confidence from some directors and not from some others..market never reacts very well when directors sell for whatever reason..Crows was hard to take because he sold the lot only slightly mitigated by the fact his stake was bought by another shareholder but NMs sale certainly did not go down well in the market particularly because of his position in DGR and his involvement with the company..nonetheless he still holds some 2 million shares..many have said including myself that they were spinning too many plates..VM has said they only need one company maker..let us hope Zaranou proves to be just that

If you were expecting a broker to take shares instead of cash surely it would be the case they were at a discount ..in most instances anyway
