lol tradesmakes anyone who has invested in exploration shares in o and g will know all too well the inherent risks and in JPs defense there was always a caveat ..understandably there are many disappointed with the current situation and you may have found your scapegoat in JP , what good that will do you other than to vent your anger but a tad naive if you think a more positive outcome was nailed on with the drill bit

Looking at todays sp and the general sentiment I would imagine 50p would be a good result..I know many will of course disagree but you have to deal with what is the current situation and there are many disenchanted and disappointed pis that would be happy to at least recover some of their heavy losses and move on..I would be interested to know what posters realistically think would be the lowest bid that the BOD would recommend to shareholders

Just got in and read through all the Q and A and not surprisingly every one and their brother berating the team over the poor seismic quality , the cr*p drill results , the management being paid too much ,is it not better that JP resigned and why have we still got BM because he cannot find any gas and yet the overriding point that kept on being made was let us carry on and drill !! lol Well I would actually like to know if anyone is interested in buying my shares first

There are many posting on here that have a better knowledge of IRR than me and I certainly do not profess to know any more than making a few calculations and assumptions and do not want to shy away from the funding issue as personally I think it will be surfacing in the not too distant future and possibly one of the reasons the sp does not make any progress on what seems to be positive news..I know Toro mentioned that VM stated that we do not need to raise more funds this year ..I don't know when that was but wonder if it was before Zaranou was being considered and then the decision to accelerate the project with the associated exploration managers and team that would be required..coupled with everything else that we have got going on I cannot see the costs lower than the same period last year for payments to suppliers and employees although of course it is difficult to gauge especially payments for property plant equipment etc but more importantly exploration assets ..some of those costs I think are a little vague but we will know more when results are published..the point I was really making was that at end Dec 2018 we had circa 12 million A , 8million US and about £ 6.5m equiv..with all the existing running costs and overheads plus the costs of accelerating Zaranou .aerial surveys etc I think we could be under £5m possibly heading to nearer 4m..looking ahead how long do you leave it before the market really catches on that you need the money whereas it just knows it is likely at the moment

That is an interesting one mike as contractors were offered shares in Solg where it has to be said on paper things were probably a little more precarious than as at IRR but even at the lower solg sp today I would suggest the contractor has done well .. personally on the cash call front I think the next one is not too far away whatever form it takes

lejjb ..good luck on your call very brave move with that size holding..my hope is that the new broom will signal a new intention and that is to uphold the law and exercise good practice ..AST has done everything to comply with permitting regulation and indeed has gone beyond to satisfy any concerns..the well stimulation has gone on many years with no detrimental effects and complies with the same acceptable industry standards in other parts of Europe..it really now is the time for Slovenia to acknowledge this by granting the very overdue permits with a view to not being so obstructive in future

daywalker has just reiterated for all to see why he/she is talking nonsense..everyone and their brother knows all too well for AST to move this project forward and make a success of it the permits and an acceptance by the Slovenians that good practice to protect the enviroment will be carried out by the operator are needed and yet daywalker is insistent they will not be forthcoming..he may be right and if that is the case even more reason to sell and move on !! he clearly is not and is filtered

It is amazing how many disenchanted investors that feel the need to come on here day after day just to remind themselves of their investment gone wrong..it happens get over it and move on as I am sure there are many that do not want to hear your constant drivel repeated that does not achieve anything

Just to reiterate albeit a minor point he put that estimate on the assets in Ghana as a whole rather than just Ewoyaa..I just hope he is right and the market gets something tangible to let them price it in accordingly

There seems to be such a wide range of figures that pis think that the asset might be worth but ultimately what the board would be prepared to put to a vote given of course that an offer is made in the first place is intriguing ..in all reality I think most would agree on success at TE 10 £2+ was a possibility..of course that figure has in most peoples minds long gone and would it now be fair to say that an average realistic price would be around the 40 to 50p range but with an interest in any further discovery by the future purchaser or do many on here think the BOD would put forward a cheaper offer rather than just say an acceptable offer has not been received

Toro I think the interview to which MB refers was on 13 June 2018 with Jeremy Naylor of IG UK ..VM had been giving an overview mainly about Lithium in Ghana but also Chad and gold at Dorothe..Naylor asked what could shareholders expect ..at the time the sp was about 28/29p and VM said a higher sp..he then went on to say that if Lithium proves up in Ghana as they are hoping it and compared to its peers could give IRR a valuation of between 500 million to a billion just for Ghana alone.
