Sounds like we are both thinking along similar lines Brasso3 unless somehow PL is going to pull a rabbit out of a hat but not sure how he's going to do it and what he has up his sleeve. I agree re the consolidation but as to how and when will have to wait and see. My main concern is how and how quickly he can grow the company?

Must admit Brasso3 I have asked myself the same question re where the funds would come from re the further acquisitions, especially as I am expecting some largish acquisitions. If they get some assets or companies at a good price that might help but I still have that question - where is that money to come from. Trafigura are a shareholder I don't see where those large acquisition funds are going to come from. Can anyone else answer that one without it involving further dilution. At some stage too is it likely there will be a share consolidation?

wonder if PL and President and Trafigura will start looking at distressed assets or assets up for sale in Argentina, or even companies to start to buy out and really start to push for a strategic large number of barrels - would be nice if PL could share the vision with us but based on previous interviews I have seen him do it might be a case of what he usually says in these circumstances - I couldn't comment on that. Will have to wait and see but it would be good to see some activity in the next couple of months.

news this week re the Farmout but surely now we must be hearing something next week. Fingers crossed.

Maybe it's the capital PL is lacking that Trafigura can supply for the acquisitions - yes they have very deep pockets but wouldn't this be another loan that President are taking on. Possibly PL has a list of possible targets to put before them next week. The two questions that remain though are firstly to make the acquisitions be transformational they would have to be big so where would the money come from and secondly how would this money or loan be repaid? In the meantime Paraguay awaits in the background.
It has just dawned on me though what PL now was meaning by the use of that phrase the golden thread in the interview and how this could have a big impact.
Time will tell but this could get very interesting.

this morning and as usual PL sounded very bullish. However, have heard him like this before the question for me is with the increased shareholder on board will they really deliver the transformation he suggests is going to happen. In the call he mentioned the word acquisition which I think he quickly changed to inorganic growth. Time will tell but what I don't quite understand is - even with Trafigura on board what is going to drive this transformational change???

market would react to that raise of funds yesterday but should it always drop back to the price the shares offered were being discounted to? I thought the whole idea was to offer the shares at a discounted value to make the raise a success. We were doing so, so well in terms of a gradual sp increase over the last week or so too. It now looks like last nights raise has scuppered that - two price monitoring extensions but in the wrong direction!. The good news is if the price is like this for the next few days I will be able to add some shares to my ISA at the same price as yesterday or lower.
Time will tell but isn't this really odd sp behaviour or have I misunderstood something?

of shares is so narrow - 09:00pm tonight. They mention that they are keen to get retail investors involved but doesn't give them much time. You cannot store such shares in an ISA either so I suppose if you have some spare cash it's not a bad thing but for me I will probably miss out on this one.

I emailed the company and received a quick response to say the date of the AGM had not yet been determined and once it had a circular would be posted to shareholders.

I cannot see anything on the website that says when it is or that a circular has been sent out to confirm the date. Has it been postponed because of Corvid-19 or has the date been determined and I just haven't spotted it?

the share price has been far too low for too long a time and it appears that this week people have started to take positions and the price has been pushed up a little. Here's hoping that with further news soon we will get an increase in the impetus and the price will continue to climb and not head back down again. Some good news with an assessment of where President are currently at and a few more positives will hopefully see the share price a good bit higher yet. Time will tell and fingers crossed for good news soon.

There's a lot of talk about the Farm Out and Ruvuma and also about Kiliwani too but what about the other drill they carried out was it Ntorya-2 will that be something they can fairly quickly look at or at least has potential in terms of reserves? There was also a discovery at Ntorya-1 and Likonde in the past too asn't there? So, there's quite some assets there to be exploited. Is it that all these areas are in the Ruvuma basin and it's a matter of time(that again!) before these areas are developed.
I really hope someone can send the Oil Minister in Tanzania does get this Farm Out signed off soon! They really do make things hard work don't they - at least we know where the ball lies at the moment. Come on lets get things moving - including the long awaited increase in the sp!!
