Great point Seawolf maybe ongoing plans have been amended but great we diversified and got the gas pumping recently - also presumably oil sales because of what we heard in the past in Argentina should be continuing as normal which is a relief.

Is it that President are keeping quiet until the Covid-19 issue blows over? Or that they genuinely don't have any news at the moment. It did occur to me that possibly this would be a good time to make an acquisition? All imho.

down as Solo's moves up. Is this just a normal share price fluctuations and there is no link in terms of what is driving the sps of both shares at a the moment, or do People think there is something behind Solo's sp movement at the moment?
I've also been wondering if people think it would benefit Aminex by them buying Solo's share of Ruvuma back or not - Aminex have said for a long time they are looking for potential acquisitions and we haven't heard anything on that front at all either!

market today with Aminex losing about half of yesterday's gains. No news so the upward drift in Solo's so and Aminex could be based on anticipated news without any real foundation. Time will tell but back to the old waiting game....

news quite often, it does seem a bit quiet at the moment. I wonder if we will hear something tomorrow or possibly in the week after Easter?
Maybe just an update but would be good to hear what they are up to and if the gas is now being pumped at the expected rate through the new pipeline.

Based on the constant delay in news with this company does anyone still think we will hear something by the end of June or more likely end of September - and I'm not joking it is a serious question. Further, did anyone get an answer as to what has happened with that so called scheduled meeting between Aminex and the Tanzanian government?

announcement unless I am misunderstanding something. I always thought we were carried for the next 2 years drilling - so a Farm out deal which reduces our percentage from 30% of what should be a large amount of gas to 22.5% just isn't making sense to me.
Have I misunderstood something?

soon re how Covid-19 is affecting operations. Quite a lot of companies have put out RNSs and I haven't seen any comments in their Twitter feed on the website, so I assume we will hear something soon.

been thinking about this. It doesn't look like we will hear anything before the end of this month. News by the end of April anyone? However, even if we get the go ahead will it then be postponed due to the impact of Corvid-19? Other companies now seem to be pushing plans to the second half of 2020. Ah well, we are used to waiting with this company looks like probably at least 3months at the earliest before any activity restarts.

Possibly we will hear something before not to long re any impact of Corvid-19 but maybe current operations can continue but other planned activities might be pushed out until we can get this nasty virus issue behind us. The bit I fail to understand though, is they say they have a good working relationship with the Tanzanian government. So, why cannot Aminex get in touch and say ok - how about a meeting next week! to get things moving. Apparently the had positive indications in September 2019 - six months ago and further murmurings in February 2020! Nothing happens - why cannot Aminex try and get this moving it makes me think either I'm not understanding something or Aminex don't have as close a relationship as they make out?

Thanks for the response matherdj. It sounds like they are giving a positive sounding message but(and this is purely aimed at Aminex and the Yanzanian government) we keep hearing this again and again then nothing to back this up in terms of actual action hence my cynicism. I really hope we do hear something and soon.

on the scheduled meeting. Just wondering if you've heard anything back yet? I assume the answer is no. It just adds to my general frustration that we are being sold a pup by the Tanzanian government. It was September 24th when we were told Aminex had encouraging news from the Tanzanian government. Since then, nearly 6 months ago no news! Until February 25th and more encouraging noises being made - now one month ago and no news! I just feel Aminex are getting strung along by the Tanzanian government. First quarter nearly over and still no news. I really do think we as shareholders deserve to be treated a lot better than this. In assuming you haven't heard anything matherdj I'm just assuming it's the same old story. Some, any news by the end of H1 - realistically based on past experience I would be very pleasantly surprised!
