they haven't hit problems in the horizontal drill and have also done casing and cementing. I didn't expect them to achieve this so soon. Now the wait for the next stage and to see whether results are above what they are expecting. Presumably some people will buy in between now and then and if the results are good hopefully that will be a catalyst for a move upward in the sp. Fingers crossed.

report but I can only assume based on the tweet that the value is purely based on the valuation of current assets plus imminent news. In terms of the 10.5p valuation if this could happen by the end of this year I would be happy with that.

Just sounds like hollow words at the moment .....
Makes you think that is easy for people to make these statements - but in terms of real progress - we've not seen anything over the last year and counting to see actions that match the words.

would just sign these things off and let Aminex proceed as a proper exploration company. They talk about bidding for a new round of oil area in two years time but who would want to bid to then have to put up with this nonsense.
The Tanzanian goverment are not winning friends with their actions at the moment. Another strange thing seems to be that you would have thought Tanzania as a country would have had a long experience of mining and such agreements would be something they would be really used to - it doesn't appear to be the case though. Next guess for sign off end of first quarter, end of second, end of the year!!!!!

Thank you. I've had a quick read and it looks like last year's drilling didn't go that well with the well being abandoned and plugged. Is anyone aware of near term prospects for the company that might add value?

being a Valentine's surprise for us LTHs tomorrow. Fingers crossed for the coming week. I wonder when the next meeting is between Aminex and the Tanzanian government will be to hopefully get us closer to be able to start drilling again. Nearly 5 months since that last one with 'encouraging signs' being given. Good job Aminex was given encouraging signs - just think how long it might otherwise take before news. I've started to feel like Aminex are having to deal with a government that doesn't appear to be able to make much progress - sadly for us.

us this Farmout process and the go ahead to drill - it looks like the pause button has been pressed. Got excited after last September's encouraging meeting and thought we would have heard something before now.....
