the share was sold as a good opportunity in that there was a really big demand for gas. Obvious to say that the gas is not being useful left in the ground. So, the Tanzanian government are letting 2 sets of people unhappy - those companies that want/need the gas for industry and those companies that need to get drilling to meet that demand. The government say they prioritised the review of the PSAs and Aminex say they receive positive indications from the government in September 2019 - so the delay just doesn't make any sense whatsoever to me - just cannot understand it?

Absolutely agree. They've not been good at informing shareholders for years. A few years ago I believe they said they would improve this after a meeting with a number of shareholders but it doesn't seem to have changed anything. When I complain about this people say to me well there's nothing to report - so it's a bit of a catch 22. What they do seem to do a lot of is say there is some encouraging news - as with September 24th RNS then no news, no impetus and a drift down in the sp. Very sad for a company with such potential.

Thanks Brasso3. I'll forget about Paraguay then until President have the money. Just thought if they drilled and it was successful we would have a multiple of the current sp - and thought as they had moved it from 2019 to 2020 they would definitely start drilling this year.

to commence this year. Are we talking the first quarter, second quarter or the second half of the year?
I cannot remember anything stating when from the revised 2019 drilling that it would be happening in 2020.

It's like an old friend who's been a bit under the weather returning back to health again. A good way to go yet but who knows where we will get to when this share gets up and running again. Great to see Schroders buying a nice chunk of shares too.
Good end to the first short week of the New Year - here's hoping for more to come with lots of positive news hopefully this year.

agreement was said to be imminent. It actually arrived about 6 months after this. Looking back at the September 24th announcement when there was an encouraging meeting and adding 6 months this takes us towards the end of March 2020. Hoping things change and we hear way before then but just going on what happened in the past.
It's a shame Aminex cannot update us with any news. At least this would tell us what they are doing whilst we continue to wait. By the way - does anyone know what the situation is at KN-1 at the moment. Hoping this year doesn't become a wasted one like last year was. Here's hoping we see changes.

decent volumes today don't appear to have moved the sp much. Here's hoping for lots of good news in the New Year and a climb in the sp to levels that reflect the real value of the company.

presents from Aminex. We might just get over 1p by year end and hopefully if the Tanzanian sign off like they've intimated they would then hopefully multiples of this pawltry 1p. I think us LTH deserve better!

Aminex and that presumably there will be some news early next year then if you were looking at the shares prospects would you recommend to buy this share at the current price if you were asked by a friend for a share that is to perform next year?

recentish posts re valuation but does anyone think it would be reasonable that by the end of 2020 the sp might be say 4 to 5 times it's current value say 50p and that by the end of 2021 is £1 unreasonable?

Would be even brighter if they could get the relevant licences approved and get companies who are prepared to make a commitment in terms of investment starting to release resources for their industries! Nothing is changing much as far as I can see.

The one thing that gets me about this one is that whilst a number of my other shares have not been active their sps have drifted down. As far as I can see though President have a strategy are diversifying their portfolio. The gas will be part of the picture soon. They are looking for opportunities. Paraguay is on the horizon. I'm thinking if they do well on a number of these fronts in 2020 then the sp will do well. On that basis the current sp looks very attractive. All imho and please Chor.
