Sdx under Paul Welch talked about them looking at up to 20 possible projects. It seems odd that they haven't progressed a few of these opportunities?

President were looking at possible acquisitions they were thinking of acquisitions between 1 and 10,000 bopd. A couple of acquisitions at say 5000 hope would be very nice indeed!

year for various reasons didn't meet the expectations both investors and the company had. Personally I feel more optimistic this year with higher production due, possible acquisitions Paraguay, reduced debt and I believe from previous interviews that PL keeps an eye on costs. Admittedly time will tell and you either invest or not depending on how you feel about the company. The above is all imho but I think with a number of positive things moving in the company's favour things should allow the company to reinvest and grow. As I say all imho and please dyor.

further news on completion of the pipeline. I think the last we heard about it was on the 13th January and 12km had been completed. Presumably it's not far off its 16km target now. Further positive news will all help.

game at the moment. The other day we went up the ladders and today down the snake. A little unfortunate I think in that the O and G sector as a whole is struggling a bit at the moment. Here's hyoping for a few ladders moments in the weeks and months ahead.

could they have put the Likonde? well into production pending the drilling of the next well and so have generated income in the meantime. Just cannot remember why that wasn't done? Can anyone else remember?

monitoring extensions today. It's been so long since we saw positive signs and now we've had a few glimmers of hope today. Here's hoping for lots more good news to come in the next few weeks.

of unfortunate timing today with the RNS falling on a day when the O and G sector struggled. However imho the company is now moving well in the right direction.
Reducing debt, increasing reserves, gas diversity soon to add to production to the portfolio. The mention today that they are still looking at substantial acquisitions and in the background and later on in the year Paraguay. Not looking too bad!

I might be reading this wrong but a substantial leap suggests more than a small acquisition. I know some time ago they mentioned that they were looking for a range of bopd in terms of acquisitions but I cannot remember what the range was?
Can anyone else who posts on here remember that?

To me this suggests they have their eyes on a few things and are ready to move for them should they become available.
Exciting times - I think it will not be long before 4p is old news.

One thing I hadn't realised was the shale potential this company seemed to have bought into President for. I think I need to do a bit more research about that. Also, I think in the first report in the year President usually provides an update on reserves and in a related way that will be interesting too.

That's pretty much about how I feel too cav45f To me PL has been trying to build on a growing production and income stream. Admittedly there have been some setbacks but I believe he is trying to build a decent sized company with acquisitions along the way. Paraguay could prove a big risk but could also bring huge returns.
Time will tell.

You've answered the question I was wondering about. I thought they might go off at an angle to the original horizontal well but didn't realize it would not be 180degrees from the old one. It will be good to know the drilling as started again from Origin and yes great news from Santos..
