More or less a year to the day the sp was at 7.65p. Here's hoping)(it might be wishful thinking) that the sp is at or above this price.

Maybe they have so little good news to share and so embarrassed at not being able to highlight some progress that they are waiting till they get some good news before confirming the date of the meeting - otherwise they'll get slaughtered at the meeting. Based on all past experience with this company it might be some time .......

If you think of a company reducing costs, trying to increase production and revenue and having further prospects in the not too distant future with a current low share price which lots of people say should be higher then that sounds like a company I would want to invest in.

are at the moment attacking costs, debt, trying to increase production and revenue, to find a Farm in partner for Paraguay and if they can get the Farm in partner on board to start drilling as soon as can be agreed and with other measures hopefully going on in the background re the substantial and expeditious changes then when this company sp moves up it's going to fly. In the meantime I'm going to try and buy as and when I can.

I always thought of Paraguay as a drain on potential funds that assets in Argentina would be earning. I hope that they can get in touch with this International Oil Company to see if they can share the drilling costs with a buy in Farm Out deal.
Presumably the net effect of this is to free up cash that President would otherwise have to find for acquisitions though this substantial and expeditious expansion I must admit has still got me a bit bemused. I think I'll have to wait on that one as I cannot see what has been announce today relates to that part of the strategy - maybe I'm wrong but hopefully more and more good news to come - I really hope so.

has being saying lately. I always try to work logically and what Brasso3 has said recently has made good sense. It there still leaves me wondering how PL is going to surprise us. More acquisitions to me suggest more loans or funding in some way to pay for those acquisitions. So, the question is still there how is he going to grow the company and boost the share price without taking on lots of extra debt that he is trying to avoid? Hopefully we will before not too !long find out how this is to be done but I can't see how at the moment?!

Yes that's my frustration though! It's with the minister and how long is it going to stay there. I want to get things up and running it's been SO LONG and we just seem to get a lot of excited statements and then no action. Taken us ages and starting to look like next year before we even get a spud RNS. Sorry for my rant but I want to get off to the races too !

interview the let question was about what was going to happen with Paraguay and PL said something will be said about this in due course. It occurred to me - I wonder if Trafigura might want to farm into that drill. I suppose it might be a possibility - not sure how it would be done. Having said this though this might not be the case, as when PL answered Malcy's question the answer was no why should Trafigura invest in a well or wells as they are invested in group. So I'm still not sure where this substantial and expeditious growth is going to appear from will have to wait and see .....

especially when he gets excited. He says there is not going to be an over hype. He has used the recent words Substantial and Expeditious re the company's growth prospects. Presumably we will not hear much until after 23rd June but by now he should have had that meeting with the Trafigura Board member - let's hope it was a very positive one and we now have something on the table to take the company forward. Let's hope the next step the company takes is a very substantial and expeditious one!! We're eagerly waiting Mr Levine!!!!

had become a pattern with Aminex announcing some news with great enthusiasm and then no follow up news and the sp just drifting. Like some people on here are saying it might be another buying opportunity.
The sad thing is Aminex having done all they can and taking out a loan to expedite the Farm Out having paid the Capital Gains Tax - there has been no response from the Tanzanian government. What this says to me is so much for the words the Tanzanian government utter in terms of encouraging the investment into the country of O & G companies when they cannot even just sign off on a Farm Out that will get things moving in that regard. If I were a high ranking official in Aminex I would be on to the TPDC and pushing for this to be sorted out immediately. Lets hope the Tanzanian government don't come back for a request for some other payment to be paid before they will carry out any action.
Very sad state of affairs.

use of the words substantial and expeditious in terms of growing the company. In terms of expeditious are people thinking we will see some activity in one month, two months or six months? The reason I ask is to me that word suggests action soon - in the past PL has always been very cautious and said he would only make acquisitions that were right and at the right price. This new approach though seems to suggest a different approach.

was that PL was someone who with his previous company - Imperial Energy had made a small fortune and for the investors in that company no doubt some good profits. So, I thought he had a good track record but importantly experience and knowledge to back up my thinking that the share would do well. From what he said in the last interview - he was as excited as he had been for quite some time. So, it just doesn't sound right to me that PL would walk away and he's said a few times now he isn't going to take the company private. Was the basis of my decision in the past not a good one? By the sound of it lots of people seem to think of Trafigura as a bad partner where from the sound of it PL sees them as a company to help President grow the company - have I read that right or do people expect ulterior motives from Trafigura? and if so it seems odd that PL would make this decision if they did have ulterior motives with his knowledge and experience as I would have thought he would be too business savvy to make such a mistake.

is steaming ahead - up about 17% today. Hopefully we will hear some news soon from Aminex - it's now over 2 weeks and counting since they completed absolutely everything they needed to do to get the approval so this Farm Out could get completed. You need the patience of a saint being invested in this company.

Heard exactly the same too. However, as you rightly say if substantial and expeditious then it still begs that question how is this/are these substantial purchases to be financed and also how is this going to happen expeditiously? Expeditiously seems to me to suggest they already have something lined up actually how they are going to carry this out is the big mystery to me and it looks like I'm not alone in that regard.

are disgruntled - probably rightly so. I think the real test is what the market believes over the next 6 months and to judge that we will have to see how the sp performs. So, if PL is telling us production has kept going and that everything is in place for future - substantial and expeditious expansion then we have something to judge him by. As I said in an earlier post time will tell.....

President are now suggesting. In their Q and A document re the Trafigura placing they refer to expeditious and substantial growth, so we have something now to judge the next 6 months against. Time will tell.
